You sat slouched in your chair, bored as anything. It was another world meeting, which meant another headache from the other countries shouting at each other about mindless drivel.
You were sat at the end of the table next to the feared country, Russia.
"Y/N? You're okay, da?" He asked you. Although pretty much every country was terrified of him, you thought he was very sweet and befriended him.
"Da, just these idiots arguing are giving me a bloody migraine" you sighed, leaning your head on the table in attempt to try and block them out.
"You want me to shut them up, da?" He asked.
"No need for that, it'd be good if this meeting ended without injury" you laughed.
"Okay, Y/N" He sighed.
The rest of the meeting passed without too much incident and you started to collect your papers and stand up.
"Wait Y/N! Let's go get coffee, da?" the Russian asked you.
"O-okay" you stuttered, wondering why you were suddenly nervous around him.
You both walked out the building and down the road to a coffee shop, talking the whole way there.
Upon arriving you ordered (coffee/tea) and Russia ordered a hot chocolate, slipping in some vodka when you both sit down in the corner of the small shop.
"Damn Ivan, are you like constantly drunk?" You laughed, going to take a sip of your drink.
"I guess I've become resistant to it. You probably shouldn't drink so soon, da?" He warned.
"What are you talking abo-MOTHERFUCKER!" You screeched with a burnt mouth.
"Y/N you should take more care, da?" He grinned.
"Pass me that bloody vodka" You said coldly, hoping the alcohol would somewhat sooth the burns.
Boy were you wrong.
"Dammit Ivan you could've told me alcohol burns!"
"Sorry Y/N, guess I forgot" he smirked.
"Like fuck you forgot," you grumbled. "lets get out of here before I cause any more bloody damage"
(Time skip)
Russia had ever so kindly offered to walk you home as it had begun snowing heavily outside.
"How the hell do you deal with this sort of weather?" You exclaimed, shivering slightly.
"I grew up in it. You're cold, take my scarf, da?" He said sweetly, putting it around your shoulders.
"Wow, thanks Ivan" you mumbled, trying to hide the blush creeping on your face.
"It's no problem, da?"
You both walked in silence for a while, trying to brush off what just happened. As you neared your house, the snow on the ground started to become more and more slippery.
One wrong step wrong later and you found yourself crashing to the ground, but before you could reach it you felt strong arms grip onto you and bring you back standing, although slanting slightly.
"Damn. You just saved my arse there Ivan!" You laughed awkwardly, the blush not effecting your already-red cheeks. "So, you gonna put me down or..."
"Da" he mumbled and let go, but not before he caught your lips with his.
You stood there trying to regain balance with eyes wide open.
'No way did he mean to do that' you thought as he looked away embarrassed.
'Surely this big, powerful, attractive county would never like someone as insignificant as me!'
"Sorry Y/N but I...I've wanted to do that for a while" he said, continuing to walk like nothing had even happened.
"I...erm...sweet" you giggled, catching up to the adorable Russian and putting your arm through his.
Oh bloody hell this is so bad
