I'll Wait For You Book 1

I smile as I look at a photo I took with Moriah in the car heading to church together. I sigh and turn off my phone and look out the window of the bus.

Luke comes with a cup of water and says,"Hey,how you holding up?"

I sigh and say,"I didn't want to leave her but I had to. I just wish none of this would have happened and maybe we would still be together."

Luke sighs and says,"Yeah, but you wouldn't be glorifying the name of God and changing other people's lives. You didn't mean what you said to her right?"

I look at him confused and say,"About what?"

He sighs and says,"About your promise to her."

I look at him and angrily say,"Of course I did. I will keep my promise to her. I will come back for her."

He smiles and says,"Well may I remind you this tour is for 6 months. Are you sure she will even wait for you?"

I smile and say,"She will wait for me and I'll wait for her. I will go back for her."

Luke shakes his head with a smile and says,"If you really have faith in that then I will pray to God to help you accomplish it."

I smile at Luke and say,"Our love story is not over just yet,it is just the beginning."

Luke pats me on the shoulder and gets up and leaves. I look out the window again and see the sky as I pray to the Lord to help me keep my promise to Moriah.

I look at the sky and say,"If you want Moriah to be my wife you will help me keep my promise and take me back to her just as I promise. Please help me."

I smile as I feel peace knowing the Lord will help me get back to my love.
