Years have passed since that event that changed my life forever. The money that Xiao Zhan left me has been put into great intentions as Dr Haikuan and I rebuilt the hospital he entrusted to me. Just like he once did, we had built an orphanage beside the hospital and all is going amazing for everybody. Along with my best friend Tao, we put in great efforts to sustain it with care and love for our patients and the children like Xiao Zhan had done before.
I often visit their graves and just sit there whenever I feel pressure from work, just to gain a little bit of hope and pray for their peace.
One day, as I was sitting and talking to Xiao Zhan about how my day was at work, I felt the air change and sensed someone standing behind me. When I turned around to look, I jolted to the sight of the person staring at me, with a flower in hand. I stood up as if wanting to hug the man.
