And so ends the third book of the series!

I can't believe that we've come so far, if I'm being honest. This past year has been... Interesting, to say the least, and this book was written entirely over the course of the pandemic and its subsequent quarantine (isolation started in the middle of March; this book started in the middle of April). I can't believe that this book has been written during such a crucial world event, and it's honestly shocking that we've been in isolation long enough for me to write something so hefty. 

With all of my shock aside, it's time for the regular thank you's of this book! Thank you to everyone who has been reading this series. I really do appreciate every like, comment, and read. It means the world to me. Going on these journeys with the Morix series is a delight, and I'm so glad that there are people out there who enjoy reading these stories as much as I do writing them. 

This chapter is being released on Thursday, April 8, 2020. In a few days, April 11 will come, and that's the anniversary of this series. This time, it will mark six years of this series in some capacity! Granted, only the past three years have been with this draft, but the fact remains the same, and I'm so happy that I decided to revisit this series. It's already outshone the original draft in every single way imaginable, and I'm just absolutely in love with this book and its companion pieces. 

I'm sure that you're wondering about the future of this series, and as usual, I'm coming to announce the next book at the same time as this final chapter! On the eleventh, I'm going to be releasing the fourth book of the series, Future Assassin's Blade. This next book is going to be a prequel, and I know that you're all going to enjoy it. I've already started writing it as of the time this update is going out, and the first chapter is finished. I hope that you all decide to tune in once again for another round of cases when the book is posted later this week!

Here's the regular round of extra thanks that go out to my contributors. My writing friends (Polly, Niamh, Lily, and Lillian) are once again amazing in helping me to develop this series. Shoutout to these four for sticking with me for six years now as I worked on this series in full. Without the inspiration and encouragement that these lovely gals have given me to continue this series, Morix would be nowhere near where it is today. I love all of you with all of my heart. Mwah, mwah. 

As usual, this chapter has a LOT  of spoilers. Just like in Secrets beneath Secrets, nothing can quite match the gravity of the big reveal from the first book, but there's still a lot here that you might not want to look into unless you've already finished reading this story. You don't want to ruin things for yourself, so I suggest not getting too deep into this unless you know what happens. The code for character creation is the same as ever as well (me = Digital, Polly = Hatty, Niamh = Ace, Lily = Shiny, and Lillian = Phoenix). Once again, shoutout to this squad for putting up with me for six years and helping me to get this series into the polished jewel that it is today. You guys are the best. 

Now that all of that has been said, it's time for the profiles, the final hoorah of this book. Once again, thank you to all of the people who have read this far. Future Assassin's Blade will be out on Sunday with its first chapter! I'll see you all then!
