There i was stuck in what they called 'the pit'. my eyes darted around the walls as i noticed a gap into the walls. It looked old, scary and covered with vines dropping from the walls.

My eyesight went back to the lock guarding me from outside. I took a bobby pin from the back of my messy hair and jammed it in the lock slowly turning it until. click. i unlocked it.

i jumped out of the pit and brushed down my clothes. My eyes gazed around as i saw the doors shut to a building in the corner. Everyone was in there.

I ran over and stood out side the door to listen in.
"so as you all know we have a girl in the glade" it was alby and he was talking about me

"meaning we need more rules to protect her"
he said and i started hearing noise of the others agreeing. FUCK THIS.

i burst through the doors and all eyes looked over at me i was sent confused, shocked faces until

"i don't need you to protect me" i said breathlessly

"how did you get out" gally said confused

"let's just say your locks are weak" i said
holding up the bobby pin

"trust me you need us to protect you" Ably said sturnly

"from what, what's so bad her-" i was cut of from a scream from outside

"what was that"

i ran outside of what looked like a council meeting and ran towards the crack between the walls and looked in there was a windy breeze and i stumbled back a couple steps until i felt a light hand touch my back and steady me. i stepped back forwards and looked at everyone in pure confusion

"what is this place" i said

seeing in the corner of my eye whose hand was on my waist. He was tall and had messy dirty blonde hair.

I looked over to Alby before i made i contact with him.

"let me show you" Alby said holding out his hand
i heasitently took his hand....

All of the boys slowly walked of back to there jobs

i lead me slowly away from the doors and started the tour

"we eat here, we sleep here, we grow our own food, we build our own shelter. whatever we need the box provides for us. the rest it up to us."

we stopped as he pointed out a few more things like the box and the gardens until i heard a voice behind me

"hey you alright Alby" said i voice behind me

i turned around to see the blonde boy again how was now standing next to me

"green-bean meet newt when i'm not around he's in charge" Ably said referring to the boy i front of me

"good thing your always around then" Newt said as he chuckled a little i smiled at him

"Newt do me favour go find chuck" Ably said breaking mine and Newts smiles at eachother

"ye sure" Newt said walking back taking a small glance at me

"who's chuck" i said as we started walking again

"he's going to help you set up" Ably said as a small boy came running over holding a hammock

The boy had curly hair and chubby checks. The stopped in front of me and smiled at me
"hi i'm chuck, nice to meet you" he said with a huge smile

"i'm y/n, nice to meet you to" i said looking down at him

"chuck take her to set up her hammock"Ably said

as the young boy took my hand and dragged me towards two trees away from the round the corner from the boys hammocks

"i'll make your hammock for you" chuck said

"oh thank you, do you want me to help you?" i replied

"no i'm okay" he said

i slid down the tree with my knees tucked in my chest and my head resting on my knees as my eyes gazed around.

"are you okay" chuck asked

"yes it just so confusing like how do you know who everyone is"

"it gets easier besides you already doing better than me i shit my pants before i could even get out of the box" he said laughing
i chuckled lightly as he finished making my hammock

"um i finished your hammock i have to go but it was nice meeting you" he said politely

"okay bye chuck" i smiled and waved as i stood up and lay in my hammock just looking at the trees above me
