the sky is the most lovely blue
the diamond clouds remind me of you
they walk away
Away from the sun, they go astray
the sky is more profound than oceans below
the clouds, like melting gold they glow
Staring straight at heaven's above
I can't help but think of long lost love
the sky shows me a silhouette
Of faraway worlds, I have not yet
seen or understood
as if the sky wears a cloudy hood
the sky lurks, just above reach
the clouds showing wards I must not breach
The sky has me misunderstood
Oh, dearest! You take off that cowl.
The sky is wise and yet naive
For at that moment, it too did leave
With no sky keeping wards underneath my feet
To the clouds, I did retreat
The sky came back and saw
My wounds won't heal, my heart won't thaw
My love! The clouds remind me of you
For you are lost, and hope is too.
