he joined muzans mafia when he was 16 after his and his twin brother yoriichi parents were slaughtered by a small gang in their town his brother only wanted to be come an assassin so they both train hard and from time to time they would go visit their baby cousins who were tanjiro and nezuko. he is overprotective of tanjiro and is like the mom or his team but can be very scary if someone hurt someone he cares about ,though sometimes he's an asshole he dose care about his team.

yoriichi decided to open his own company though it took alot of time he never gave up because he would always get nezuko and tanjiro fancy stuff even if they didn't need it they where the only family members in korea with him and tanjiro sometimes acted like Kokushibo and yoriichi would love that because he missed his brother

nezuko and her older brother was born in Korea and they had a happy family but her fatjer was always sick so they couldn't really do anything but help their father with stuff after their father died nezuko noticed tanjiro always working extra hours to provide them with more thing and with the help of their cousin's yoriichi and Kokushibo they were able to have the stuff they needed. nezuko is a very sweet girl she is also very pretty she already has an husband his name is zenitsu she is overprotective of her brother because she thinks hes to innocent

tanjiro was an important part of his family because once his father died he was responsible for his family so he had two jobs working day and night to make sure he little sister and mother didn't need to worry about anything his cousins would help by baby sitting nezuko or helping his mother with things. tanjiro is a very kind person but he hates when other people bully or hurt others for no reason though he can be very scary sometimes .

muzan was born a very sick child and came from a rich family that looked down on him muzan despite being sick he was very smart and skilled in reading emotions on people he hated not being able to go anywhere but one day he was given medicine that slowly cured him after he was healthy he killed his parents and starting to tain to be an assassin he is mostly cold hearted but not for long

they join muzans mafia after them killing their parents and they really seem to care they fight aloy but they will never really get mad each other and they would kill anyone who hurt on of the other so they where really close to each other
in the anime there are other demons so they are just other members of muzans mafia but they really wont be in the story much
and the demon slayer corps are another mafia wanting to kill muzan and his mafia
