The Following Day, an anonymous person delievered a box to Humaira's doorstep.

She quickly opened it. In the box were a pack of bullets and a small, black gun. She took the gun that was placed inside as a smile formed on her lips.

"Good, this is what I should have don't long ago, even before he got released from prison. That man needs to die! He thinks all powers lies within him right?" She carried the gun and carefully examined it.

"I guess he's mistaken."

Just then, she saw his advert on the T.V. It said; 'vote Alhaji Musa Adamu for Senator.' Humaira wanted to switch off the television but something made her watch it.

"His election would be three days from now. Good." A smirk finds its way to her lips.
"I hope I'll get this job done by then or... Why don't I do it today? Yes! I'm going to pay him a visit in his office right away. Let him die and let's have peace. Knowing that that wicked man is still living a good life pisses me off! I'm going to shoot him and I don't care what comes afterwards. I should have done this long ago it not for my profession. But now, I don't care anymore!" She said to herself as she changed into a pair of black jean trouser and white T-shirt. She put on white sneaker and black face cap to compliment the outfit.

She fixed the gun in her back picket and entered her Jeep. Knowing that nothing would stop her, Humaira was more determined to take revenge. For her son, sister, and herself.

Minutes Later...

Humaira parked her car somewhere by the road and walked into COLFOLDS Company. Going through the dinging lift that finally took her to the tenth floor where Alhaji Musa's office is. By the entrance was Mrs. Lydia, his secretary. Its been over 5 years since Humaira personally met his secretary but she didn't say a word, she just walked towards the Alhaji's office.

"What do you want?" Mrs Lydia stopped her.

"I'm looking for Alhaji Musa. Is he in?"

"No, h..he's not." She lied, trying to cover up but Humaira stormed in.
She met Alhaji Musa rolling on his executive leather chair, making a phone call.

Mrs. Lydia followed her in but Alhaji Musa signalled her to leave them alone. Lydia obeyed, closing the door behind.

"Okay, fine. I'll get back to you." Alhaji Musa muttered over the phone before turning to Humaira's angry face.

"Yes, how may I help you?" He questioned.

"I see you're back to seat. Even with all what you've done, you're still hale and healthy."

"What do you want, Humaira?" He made an eye contact with her.

She pointed the gun at him with all her muscles. Her eyes were focused and serious like that if a lionesses, watching it's prey.

Seeing her pointing a gun at him looked ridiculous. Alhaji Musa let our an evil laughter...
"What's the meaning of this, Aisha? Are you going to kill me?"

"Isn't it obvious?" She hissed. "I'm going to make you pay for all the pains and tears you've brought to me."

Hearing her saying this made him remember someone. Alhaji Sanni Ahmad, Humaira's father. Her last words sent goosepimples on this skin as he swallowed. For some reasons, he became nervous but he covered it up with an evil smirk.

"You're just the replica of your father, Humaira. It's no news that you act and think like him but trust me, you have no idea how strong I am. Look here Humaira, there's nothing I'll gain by killing you but it would be my pleasure."

"What are you taking about?"

He smiled at her question. "When your father faced me with such fire in his eyes, I killed him!"

"Y..you what? I thought he had an accident."

"That was what I made people see, Humaira. I sent my boys to attack Sanni and his driver and make it look like an accident. The same goes to your mother."

"M..my mother?" Tears gathered in Humaira's eyes. What did you do to her?

"Well, I paid a nurse to poison her drip. You wouldn't know these stuff if I didn't tell you right. I know you were all thinking she had 168 hours to live. Well, I took that away!"

"So you poisoned my mother? You killed my mum, how dare you?!" She yelled at him, pointing the gun forward.

"Keep that thing down Humaira, theirs no point in beating yourself up the wall. Look, our son is with me so forget about the past and move on with your life."

"What? Are you with Hadee?" Humaira asked with anger, laced in her voice.

He didn't answer. Alhaji Musa couldn't help but to laugh curtly at her curious face.
"He's dead, Aisha! Forget about him!"

Hearing this scattered her heart into a thousand pieces. She shivered at the gun as hot tears lingering down her eyes. "You killed him?"

"Put down that gun!" he warned.

That moment, Humaira couldn't think straight. Her hands shivered like that of a convulsing child but she held the gun with every single bone and muscle.

With the hatred she had for him, and the revenge burning in her, Humaira closed her eyes and pulled the trigger.

A loud Poooo! echoed in the building.

***

Opening her eyes, Humaira saw Alhaji Musa dropped dead to the floor. She shivered, the gun was still in her hand.

As if the security guards already knew, the rushed to his office with guns in their hands.

"Hands up!" They commanded.

"Hands up!!"

Humaira slowly raised the gun to her head. She closed her eyes as another tear drop lingered down her faced.

About to pull the trigger, a hand grabbed the fun from her hands as they twisted it to the back. It looked as if everything was slow motioned, everything she saw turned blurry and everywhere got silent. As if water blocked her heardrums, the only thing she saw was Alhaji Musa laying on the floor, bleeding. She didn't know where the blood was pouring from as she struggled to look, the took her out of the place. Her hands were handcuffed as they handed her over to the police officers that just arrived. They took her into the van as they drove away. The last thing Humaira saw was that an ambulance arrived the place. Probably, it came for Alhaji Musa.
