"Rise and shine sweetheart!"
I hissed as Anna drew back the curtains sharply, letting the daylight pour into my messy bedroom. "Get out" I whined, diving under the covers which were dragged away from me. "Y/n it's one in the afternoon! Get your life together girl" Anna coached.
"Nope, I don't wanna. The guy I love is getting married in less than a week and you expect me to be happy?" I scoffed. Anna sighed dramatically. "No, but forget about stupid Bill and the wicked witch of the west. Me and you are going for a girls day out, no men. No bullshit" she smiled.
"Ughhh" I groaned as she forced me out of bed and to get ready for the day. I felt like my sole purpose was to hide away from the world but apparently, my friend wasn't having any of it. "Wear a skirt, get those legs out. Flaunt that figure baby" she squealed excitedly, she reminded me of a kid.
I couldn't help but giggle as her positive energy radiated around the room. As requested, I wore a nice skirt and button-up shirt before she combed out my hair and spritzed me up with perfume. "Now, to the spa! I'm dying for a dip in the hot tub" she grinned and I was actually looking forward to it.
There was a spa just outside of town in a cute cabin designed building. It was just the perfect way for us to unwind as we changed into robes, exploring around the place. A cute worker even offered us glasses of wine which we couldn't refuse. "Now I'd like a piece of him" Anna winked. "Yeah he is cute," I said a little too loud, catching his attention.
Anna laughed at me as my cheeks flushed red. "Way to shoot your shot" she teased. "Shut up" I sassed as we finally headed over to the hot tub. The water felt heavenly as we soaked it up, both of us sitting with our hair in loose buns and matching bikinis getting slightly drunk on red wine.
"Mmm, did I tell you I got invited to the wedding?" She said randomly, her head bopping to the soft radio music. "What?" I almost choked on my drink. "Ya, it came this morning in the mail. The invitation was kinda ugly but that's okay" she smiled. I let out a small grunt. "At least you get to go" I replied.
"Girl, I'm bringing you as my plus one. Duh," she said, taking a sip. "Wait a minute, you were the one who told me to forget about him this morning," I raised an eyebrow. "I did?" She went quiet for a moment "Okay well there's been a change of plan" she giggled.
"Oh yeah? What's that huh?" I inquired. "So, we're going to make you look so frickin sexy but yet classy, we crash the wedding and walk away like the bad bitches we are and then we're going to forget about him all over again" she sounded proud of her plan. I bit my lip, hesitant about the whole idea.
"Are you sure?" I replied.
Anna nodded. "Maybe that last piece of revenge will help you move on" she suggested, taking a large gulp of wine. I thought about it, my face eventually creeping into a smile. "We're doing it."
