Once we arrived I walked over to jake and glanced at Robbie with Jane, ugh she is all over him I winced at the sight
Jake pulls me to the corner and puts his lips on mine, I push him off
"What's wrong babe" he says
"Oh I'm..., um nothing's wrong" I say
He try's to kiss me again but I turn my head
I locked eyes with Robbie and he sees my distress, Robbie mouths are you ok
I shook my head no and furrowed my eyebrows
I just didn't feel right kissing jake, it disgusted me In fact
Robbie rushes over and pulls jake off
"Hey bro get off of me" jake says
Robbie lets go and grabs my hand.
Jake stood there dumbfounded.
Me and Robbie walk away
"Thanks for saving me Robbie" I say
"No problem sky, your my best friend, I would do anything for you "
He says
I look into his eyes, it felt right next to Robbie, comfortable and and I felt so very happy...I-I think I liked him. He smiles at me
"Is there something oh my face" he chuckles and starts to wipe his face
"No" I giggle
"Then what" he asked
"Robbie, Am I your friend" i ask
"my best-friend" he replies
"But I'm a friend nothing more" you wonder
"Well... um" he says
"Robbie, I like you, more then I friend... I-- I just never really noticed. it explains why my heart flutters when I see you, why I get jealous seeing you with someone else" I say
"But I thought you didn't like me, sky" he says
You shake you head and look down
"Sky, I do like you... Hell I love you, I love your long blonde hair and your sparkling green eyes and you cute smile and your dimples and your laugh... I love everything about you" he says
I look up and hug him.
I go on my tippy toes and peck his lips, when I pull away Robbie grabs my waist and pulls me in for another kiss.
That was the best night ever.
Robbie and me loved each other, we two would climb in shopping carts and roll down the side walks or swing on the hammock, flipping upside down repeatedly. having peals of laughter, we would run around in the rain, bike in the forest, climb trees and sit in each others embrace, watch Netflix marathons through the long summer night , I thought it would last forever, but like Newton says, all things up must come down, and we came down with a crash.
