Oliver Sullivan should have never fallen in love with his best friend, Benjamin Adams. Maybe then, he wouldn't be sobbing over a Facebook post at three in the morning about his engagement.
What started as a childhood friendship as a result of their parents, became a long unrequited crush Oliver couldn't shake off. Even after all the pain, hurt, and suffering Benjamin had caused during their high school years after Oliver came out, Oliver couldn't seem to get over his silly little crush.
After finally cutting ties and distancing himself from Benjamin and his friends, Oliver finds comfort in the routine of college life. Every weekday after class at the same time, Oliver would visit his favorite coffee shop where his favorite barista would make his cold brew exactly the way he liked. He'd deny it but Oliver would be lying if he didn't catch himself silently admiring the always cheerful Haruto behind the counter.
But as Oliver finds solace in his favorite coffee shop and in the barista, Benjamin's engagement is only another setback into Oliver's confidence in falling in love again.
