Ash POV

I woke up and got dressed so I decided it was the day to finally talk to the trio. I was talking out the common room when I heard Tom

"Where are you going??"

"Doing the job of getting close to the trio"

"You're gonna be friends with them?!"

"Tom I have to"

"True...okay fine go"

"I wasn't asking permission I was telling you" I said and ran for my life

"ASTERIN!!"

I heard Tom yell

I walked into the great hall and se then

"Show time" I whispered to myself

Hermione POV

"No, you are doing it wrong"

"Then you do it!" Ron said annoyed

"But then you'll never learn- HARRY" I whispered "Riddle is coming"

"What?" He said as he turned around to see the pretty girl

"Hey guys" she said nicely

"Hey" I responded

"What are you guys talking about?" She asked

"Trying to do the assignment Snape said" Ron said

"You guys aren't done yet??" She said

"No, are you?" Ron asked

"Yes!, it really easy! Let me help you" Asterin said as she took over

I looked at Harry and it looked like he wanted to talk to her but was too shy

"Talk to her" I whispered

"I can't"

"Why?"

"I-I'm shy and look at her she's beautiful"

It was true she is pretty beautiful and was probably the prettiest girl

"Just talk to her Harry before someone takes her"

"I will but in a bit"

Omg I can't with this boy. He can't even talk to a girl now imagine him talking to his crush

"And that's it! You're done" she said happily

"Wow thanks Riddle"

"Call me Asterin or Ash"

Ron smiled at her and looked at what she did amazed

"You're good at Potions" I said

"Yea, it's my best class"

"W-where did you learn it f-from or who t-taught you?" Harry asked nervously

"My parents"

Ash POV

"Nice" Ron said

I lied because it wasn't my parents it was my godfather...Snape but they don't need to know that

"We should get to class" I said

"Okay let's go" Hermione said as they stood up and walked

We talked on our way to class but the person I wanted to talk to mostly didn't talk at all

"So Potter uh do you like quidditch?" I said trying to start a conversation

"Y-yea I actually started in 1st year"
