Arabella Cattaneo POV
It was New Years and we were having a small gathering with some of Lena's extended family. They hadn't come yet but they had told us that they were arriving in an hour because of the fucking traffic.
Lena and I were getting ready in her room, still looking for dresses. We were standing in towels, pacing around her huge closet. We had done our makeup prior.
"Oh! Lena! Try this one on!" I squeal, handing her a light pink spaghetti strapped dress that was made of silk and would compliment her beautiful tan skin.
"I love it! Oh my fucking god! I love it!" She exclaimed, turning around and looking in the mirror. She suddenly frowned.
"Hey, what's wrong?" I coo as she leans into me.
"Seb and dad probably won't let me wear this but it's so hot!" She whines.
"It's fine. I'll handle it. You are 17! Wear what you want." I calm her.
"Okay. Oh! What about your dress? We need to hurry! We still need to do our hair!" She panicked, looking through her dresses.
"Oh! Try this on now!" She pushes a black dress to my chest.
I put it on, loving the look it gave my figure.
"Holy fucking shit! We are gonna be the hottest ones there." Lena giggled.
"Yea, just let's do our hair and makeup real quick." I smile at her.
She quickly blow dried her hair, putting on some concealer, eyeliner, mascara, blush and lipstick and gloss.
I did a natural look and pink lips, quickly finishing up a email I needed to get done.

We spent the rest of our time waiting until we realized we were almost late to the party.
I put on my resting bitch face, already wanting to jump into my bed and watch miraculous ladybug.
