We were sat in a circle eating our berries bored out of our skins

And I wasn't even that hungry but I still tried to eat some cause otherwise I would be going nearly 24hs without food and dad would go bonkers

Trevor: yum delicious, I do like a good blackberry

Dilys: who needs freshly cut sandwiches when you've got this

I'd rather take the sandwiches and I knew the others would to - I thought as I decided to go hungry, berries made me sick, I was allergic to them so I couldn't really eat them

And I now felt hungry and just lost that Trevor hadn't taken my allergies into account and dad had packed food but it was mostly biscuits

James: can't we call out for a pizza?

Norman: someone decided we couldn't bring a mobile phone

So what do we do if we get stuck and there's a fire eh? - I thought angrily as I slammed my empty plate down

Somehow it don't smash like I imanged

Oh it's paper that's why

Paper? Don't ask me ask Trevor

I feel Sarah squeeze my arm in a hope for comfort

It works a little and I rest my head on her shoulder for a few secound a to Trevor starts to talk

Trevor: I know how to lift thouse camp day blues with a good old fashion sing song

I face palmed again and James and Norman looked at each other

So did me and Sarah

Both with looks of Bordem etched on

Trevor started to sing the song and was Dilys flirting again?

Trevor: we're the Pontypandy pioneers, were bold and brave and have no time for fears, so give three big and hearty cheers

None of us responded cause we were bored, tired and mostly hungry

And in my care STILL FEELING SICK

But we decided to reply after a bit

Trevor: I can't hear you

We all tiredly said hurray, hurrays hurray

Trevor: for the good old pioneers

Dilys then shushed Trevor as she stood up

Derik mutter thank god

To be honest we were all low getting tired and wondering when bed would be but Dilys sent nearly everyone but me into a frantic panic

Dilys: listen everyone, can you smell something

Trevor: I think you mean can you hear something

I was sniffing the air and I started that once Dilys said she could smell something

Other then the dirt nothing smells unusual

Hmmm

Dilys: Sausages

Trevor: well there's no need to take that tone

Dilys was right the air did smell slighty off

Dilys: I can smell them cooking

Trevor: that's impossible Dilys, there's no campfires in the forest today remember

Dilys: I'm so hungry I must be hallucinating

Norman and Derik looked at each other but I could smell something

And it deftly wasn't dirt, it did smell Smokey to
