⇾I know China didnt invade Taiwan to force them back, but it seemed boring just having her run to another island so this is like an AU where China tried getting her back.|

⇾This kinda reminds me of Tangled lol.|

Taiwan panted, placing a hand on her chest to control her heart as she leaned agaist a tree. This civil war between her and her sister was driving her insane. She had gotten sick and tired of China and her communism, so she fled. And it wasn't like she fled to Mongolia or Vietnam(which was also a communist country, so that wouldn't work-) to get away. Oh no, she fled to an island. An island she wasnt even sure China knew existed.

But that was good. She didn't want to be with her anymore anyways.

"Taipei." She heard somebody call out, sending a shiver down her spine, "Taipei. I know you're here." She heard again. Taiwan tried her best to hide behind the tree she was at, but by the time China had mentioned her name she knew it was too late,

"What do you want?!" She growled, keeping still agaist the tree,

"Tai, I just want you to join me. You'll be a lot better as a communist." She stated. Although Taiwan could only hear her voice, she could already see the possessive look on her face,

"No! I won't! You can't control me!" She replied back. She was just about to speak again when a hand grabbed her wrist. She gasped, pulling as the nails dug into her skin,

"Taipei-"

"Taiwan."

"Tai-whatever. You belong with me. Get off the stupid island and join me!" China offered, forcing Taiwan to look into her eyes,

"No! I don't want to be a communist!" She yelled, clawing at her twin sister's hand. China froze at her sister's words, taking something out of her pocket,

"Fine, I'll be the bad guy." She growled, lifting the knife up to scar her. Taiwan didn't bother fighting back with force, but instead used her weak spot agaist her. She had no choice. She knew China was weak when it came to this,

"You always were." She smirked. China froze, letting Taiwan's wrist go, "Don't lie to yourself, China. You always were the bad guy." She kept on going, seeing the fear shoot in her eyes,

"I-I..."

"She's brainwashing you. Soviet doesn't love you. She never will. You're just as bad as her. Probably worse." Taiwan kept on going, a smirk forming on her face as she watched her sister's face twist in pain,

"S-Shut up- Soviet will forever be my lover. She's better than you'll ever be..." China tried reasoning. Taiwan snickered,

"I doubt she'll last any longer."

And with that, China fled. Taiwan rolled her eyes, knowing dann well her sister's weaknesses and how easy it was to break her by playing with her feelings. Calling her a monster was something that really set her off, and Taiwan knew that. The only way she could get put of China's grasp was by saying it though, so she had no choice.

She turned on her heel, spinning around to look and stare at the land that was now hers.
