I got up from the bed seeing that it's still dark outside.

I grabbed my phone checking the time to read 3:33am making me sigh

I got out of bed softly making sure Vinnie didn't wake up

I went downstairs and got some cold water, drinking some at the island in the kitchen

That's when I heard something fall and break. Like glass of something

I grabbed the gun from where I usually keep them around

What? I'm a person who is a in danger all the time now

I walked into the he dinning room and automatically regretted it feeling something hard hit my back

I quickly got up and head butt the guy behind me shooting the guy in front of me

He fell as the guy behind me started choking me and my breath started slowing down

"Y/N!!" I heard Vinnie's voice

I shot the guy in the foot and Vinnie came rushing through shooting the guy 2 times and blood splattered over me

I looked in shock feeling myself not wanting to move

"Are you alright" Vinnie asked coming slowly over to me

"I-I'm fine" I said then walked upstairs and started myself a bath

I took my clothes off and got in sitting there thinking of what just happened

The door slowly creaked as Vinnie entered and came over to me

He grabbed my wash cloth and started washing the blood off my shoulders

"You'll be fine. When you wake up it'll be just like a bad nightmare" he said and I just stared at the wall

He finished cleaning me and helped me over to the bed

All I had on was some underwear I didn't want a bra or other clothes on

I closed my eyes falling asleep again once Vinnie wrapped his arms around me

I felt safe

I woke up and immediately rushed downstairs to see nothing

"Hey baby you ok" Vinnie asked all dressed up and he looked happy

"Y-yeah just- did that actually happen last night" I asked nervously as his faces became curious

"What happened" he asked

"Well uh the guys breaking in,and me shooting and fighting them off" I said and he shook his head lightly chuckling

"That must've been one hell of a nightmare" he laughed and I rolled my eyes

"Whatever. Never mind" I started walking back the bedroom

He stopped me

"If you think someone is going to break into your house then you should stay at mine. It's under better protection than yours" he said and so I sighed

"I don't want to get rid of this house yet" I lightly spoke

"And you don't have to tell me why, but it's for the best" he said

"Fine" I groaned and Vinnie's phone started buzzing again

"Who's that" I asked and he looked at me from his phone

"My-" he sighs looking back at his phone still blowing up

"My ex Kenzie" he said

"Oh" I said not as surprised

I slowly made my way up to my bedroom and got ready for the day

Walking into my job I greeted everyone including Bella but she got a big hug

"I know your life was crazy without me so spill" she says as she pulls away from the hug

I tell her everything from the last time met her to what I thought happened last night

"Woooww" she said as I finished telling her

"I know it's crazy"

She looked up behind me so I looked behind me to see Vinnie enter the door

"Why is he here??" I asked

"You don't remember? We have a meeting" she said getting her folders and heading to the office

I followed kind of forgetting what I was last working on before leaving

I walked in and one of the employees pulled me aside

"Your not talking for us today" they said and I sighed in relief

"Thank God. Wait- then who is" I asked and they pointed towards a women who was wearing a tight short dress

Vinnie took his seat and his eyes slightly widened at the sight of her but then he smiled assuming to look professional

"Hey Kenzie, nice to see you again"
