Whenever I need motivation to practice my instruments, I always look up videos of Kousei and Kaori playing together, or listen to the other soundtracks from this anime. I did cry the first time watching this, ultimately it is one that will always have a special place in my heart. I am a pianist and violist, so the struggles of a musician really speak to me.
It was such a life changer to watch this anime, it just really spoke to me. It was inspirational, motivational, haha very emotional :) I liked how it focused not just on Kousei and Kaori, but also Tsubaki and Ryota and the selfless acts those two performed just for Kousei and Kaori. Also even changing the focus towards the supporting characters :)
Overall, I highly recommend this anime, I end up rewatching in April bc why not :) In general tho, definitely one of those animes that any anime watcher must watch
