Brookes POV
I hated airplanes
They are so tight and small and people don't seem to care, like the kid behind me who repeatedly kept kicking my seat.
Eventually I landed my plane landed and from there I headed to Charming. I was dreading it. I wanted to avoid everyone as much as possible and hopefully I will succeed.
*phone rings*
"What ma" I say as I answer the phone
"Where are you" she says
"I'm about 15 minutes from the house" I say
"Right ok" she says as she hangs up
Rude much
Coming back here, brings back so many memories, I just hope I don't run into him whilst i'm here.
Charming hasn't changed, don't know why I thought it would. The house still looks the
same, although I thought my ma would either sell or redecorate when me and my sisters moved out, but she didn't and here I am, sitting in the driveway, debating on whether I should go in or not.
"You going to come in" says a voice to my right
"Jesus christ, you got to stop creeping up on people" I say as I clutch my chest
"Eh, wheres the fun in that" say's my older sister Kat
"Ha ha, so funny, now move" I say as I wind up the window to my rental and get out
"Wheres ma" I say as I follow Kat into the house
"Shes out back" says Kat
"Oh great" I say as I make my way out towards the back of the house
Oh fuck, my aunt is here also
Pain in my ass
"Brooke, you're finally here" shouts my aunt from across the garden
"Hey Paula" I say as I give her a slight wave
"When did you arrive" says my mother as I take a seat opposite her
"About 10 minutes ago" I mutter
"Been a while since I seen you" she says as she looks at me
"I'm aware, you remind me everytime you call" I say as I shake my head
"Don't get pissy with me, i'm your mother, this is your home" she says
"Ma, we talk on the phone nearly everyday, I only live in Nevada, so you can come visit
me once in a while" I say
"I know I can but i'm busy and I have to be there for your sister" she says taking a
sip of her drink
"Yeah well, i'm busy also but yet here I am visiting home, even though I don't want
to be here" I mutter
"Oh grow up and stop sulking" she spits
"Whatever" I sigh as I get up and head inside
Fucken nigtmare already and I haven't even been here a day
