A evil laugh echoed in the dark room. The only light provided was the sunlight lurking in by the window on the side, surrounded by darkness. Out of the shadows emerged a man. His body was enveloped in a thin night-blue cape, his face was pale, his eyes dark, his mouth twisted into a smirk. Smoke trailed behind him as he walked his way forward, his cape trailing on the floor.

"Tremble, puny human beings, and pray while you still can. Don't you know who you're facing?  When I hunt people, I never rest until I catch them. Never have I failed. And when I get my hands on my prey, I slowly torture them, slowly rip them apart, feast on their pain, until nothing remains. Some may say I am Death in a disguise. Beware, for you are in the presence of the Destroyer of Heroes, the Killer of Weak, the King of the Kings, the Master of Smoke, the Controller of beasts, the Rightful Owner of the World. And I—" He thundered, his voice rising.

"Shut up, man"

The man snapped his head towards the source of the sound. Snarling, he spat. "'Shut up, man'? Who dares speak of me of this way, dares insult the—"

"Yes, yes, we know, the Destroyer of what-not, the Controller of thingy-majingy... listen, I'm trying to sleep here, so do me a favour and shut up please." The voice answered, coming from the opposite side of the room.

"It's Destroyer of Heroes, Controller of Beasts, Master of Smoke, Ki—"

"Master of Smoke?" The voice snickered. "Listen, Billy, why don't you go do your beauty sleep?" The person stood up and walked towards the Killer of Weak, revealing a girl, her hair braided  in a dark ponytail, wearing black boots and a grey suit, her cape floating behind.

He  slammed his hands on the bars separating them. She barely flinched.

"Uh-oh, big Billy is not happy." She sang.

"It's William, gosh! And consider yourself lucky that you'll live to tell the tale." He growled, walking back towards his bed.

She sighed. "Dude, did you actually forget that we're in prison? You literally can't do anything."

The man hesitated, then laughed. "Uh-oh, little Lizzy is not happy." He mimicked.

"Well, hell yeah, 'cause some idiots thought I was your sidekick, not your worst enemy, and got us rotting in prison!"

"You're just upset because your parents will be maaaad."

"Not!"

"Liar!"

"No, you're the liar!"

"Liar!"

"Liar!"

"Liar!"

"Li—okay, we really sound like kids." She acknowledged.

"No, you sound like a kid!"

She looked at him warily. "Seriously?"

He grinned.

She rolled her eyes.

"You know, we could get out if we co—"

"No!" She snapped.

"But—"

"I am not going to work with you!"

"Do you have any other ideas?"

She groaned, knowing he was right. "But we forget everything when we get out."

"Works with me."

They both smiled grimly.

"Oh and, Billy?"

"Yeah?"

"I'm putting your ass in prison after this."
