"Bon, when those two walk away, I'll distract a few on the left, you'll take the rest on the right, then you join me, d'accord?" The first girl ordered, whispering to two other figures. The trio were dressed in every-day men work clothes, and were hiding in the dark on the rooftop of a building near the prison.

"I have a feeling that if we object, we would be ignored." Commented the second figure, a boy.

"Your instincts are better than your brains, Jean. Guy, you're ready?"

The third figure nodded, before hesitantly adding. "Anne, are you sure that the boss is in la Bastille?"

"Why else would we be here?" snorted Jean.

"Hey, it's now or never." hissed Anne, pointing at two of the guards moving on with their patrol.

Making sure that no one can see them, Jean and Guy slipped quietly near the guards. Anne sighed, heaved her pistol from behind her and placed it in position. She blew her hair out of her face, and aimed the building facing theirs. She sucked in her breath, then pulled the trigger. It hit the metal lamp on the building, snapping the guard's attention to the building. Quickly, Anne pushed herself in the dark. The guards were arguing , and finally two of them headed towards her, while the rest watched. She cursed under her breath, clawing her hair. They were supposed to leave only two guards at the door, not four! The two guards were near, raising their rifles. If she shot the two, then the two other guards would follow, and the other two would call on reinforcement, which Jean and Guy would knock out. But what if other guards heard the shot and came running in? No time to think, Anne aimed her pistol at one of the men's head. This might seem easy, but Anne never actually shot anyone. Her finger trembled. She was going to take someone's life. For justice, but still. Just as Anne was going to activate her pistol, the four guards at the door shouted.

The two guards hurried back, holding their riffles up.  The other guards shouted at them, where Anne caught the words "other entry" and curses, and all of them ran towards the other entry, at the other side of the building.

Confused, Anne joined Jean and Guy, at the prison's entry.

"What was that?"

Guy shrugged. "We were too far to hear. Anyways, we can go in now!"

"Anyways, we can go in now!" Jean mimicked with a high-pitched voice. Guy slapped his arm.

Together, they pushed open the doors of the prison and went in.

As soon as they set foot in, gunshots were heard.

"Duck!" screamed Anne, before they all dropped on the floor.

Nothing.

Anne raised her head, looking around. Then, she stood up, brushing her pants.

"Anne, get down, are you folle—" Jean yelped as another gunshot was heard.

Anne sniggered. "It's coming from outside, idiot." Jean rolled his eyes.

"Well, I wouldn't know, since you also thought we were under attack."

"But I checked, not like you coward."

"You called me coward?"

"Hell yeah I did!"

"Well, you—"

"Mon dieu, please shut up." Sighed Guy. "It's like watching five-year old's arguing. Anyways, where to go?"

Anne turned to Jean. "Jean, where's the boss?"

"In the prison, duh."

Anne blinked. "I mean, in which cell? Where do we go?"
