Work Hours Part 4 •Namjoon•

Previously:

"We are going to be on a business trip in Paris, 4 days prior. your clothes, accommodation and food and other necessities will be provided. all you need to bring is your personal things like girl stuff, phone or other things you can think of as your personal things that will be needed for the trip" I looked through the file and it shows the itinerary for the trip

Chapter 4 - Your POV

3 days passed indicating that Tomorrow will be our departure for our trip to Paris. it's now Friday night, I just got home from work. even though I'm exhausted, I still can't shake off the excitement I have been feeling

I got my bag and packed my "personal things" and some comfy clothes that I might wear and some swimsuits. after I finished, I took a quick shower and then set an alarm early in the morning because we are leaving at exactly 5 'o'clock on the dot. since it will take more than 11 hours to get to Paris

I heard my phone ding so I checked who messaged me this late at night

one notification of message from Mr Kim

"I will pick you up at 4:30 am. Be ready by then"

scratch that, I will make my phone alarm at exactly 4 am.

I set my phone down and plopped down my bed for a nice and cozy sleep

>> 4:00 am <<

riiinnngggg riiiinnnggg~

I woke up at the loud sound of my alarm setting off. I sat down on my bed feeling sleepy and turned my alarm off

"what a pain in the ass" I muttered and stood up, sleepily walking into my bathroom to quickly fix myself

>> 4:25 am <<

I sat down on my sofa with my things near me. I waited for Mr. Kim to pick me up.

Just like in cue, the doorbell rang so I stood up and opened the door

"Goodmorning, Mr Kim" I greeted him and opened the door for him so he went inside as he placed his keys in his pocket

"Is this all your things?" He looked at my things then to me as I nodded my head

"Alright, are you ready to go?" He took the large bags and I took one of the small bags and smiled at him

"Ready as I'll ever be" He nodded and went out to place my things inside the car, then I made sure to switch off every lights and locked every door after I checked if the keys are with me.

I locked the front door and placed my keys in my purse. I carried my bag and then went to Mr Kim's car

he played soft music and drove to the airport. I think I dozed off a little during the small drive because Mr Kim nudged or tapped my shoulder. we got out of the car and got our luggages, went in the airport for security and check and a lot of stuff. soon after, we waited a few minutues until our designated flight was called in for us to board in. (I don't know the right term) we sat down on our seats. I didn't know that we we're on the Class A seats in the plane, there's only a few people here maybe 2 or 3 more besides us

the attendants placed our small bags to the compartment above us as we settled in our seats. not long after, the plane took off, it is already sunrise and I can see the sun peeking through the horizon and it calms me even though I never rode a plane before. I sat down next to the window and Namjoon sat beside me with his Laptop on the mini table in front of us.

"I am really shocked and excited at the same time" I smiled and looked at him, his eyes set on his laptop

"and why is that?" he asked vividly

"because not only do I get to ride a plane for the first time, I also get to experience seating in a Class A seat. How cool is that?" I exclaimed quietly and smiled

"for you it is cool. but for me, I have been in the Class A seat ever since I started on my business trips. since you are now my secretary, you will get to experience this lifestyle whenever we go to several business trips" he smiled and looked at me then back on his laptop.

"good morning ma'am and sir, would you two love a drink?" An attendant came and smiled

"I would love an ice cold Fresh milk. oh and some blanket and pillow, if you have" I asked with a smile then Namjoon said he would like a coffee with some bread. the attendant nodded and came back with our drinks and Namjoons bread

"after I finish this, I would like to sleep for a few hours. wake me up if you need something" I told namjoon and he just nodded. I finished off my drink and placed the glass on the table and closed the window, got the blanket and pillow.

"have a sweet and nice sleep. I'll wake you up if anything happens or something" I heard Namjoon talk and not the moment after, I dozed off to sleep feeling peaceful and content with the temperature in the plane.

sorry if it took me a month to update this chapter. I have had several panic attacks because of stress. I am stressed about my school and thankfully I just finished my school works last week. I was also busy with call of duty since I really like gun fights/games, it served as my stress reliever besides stress eating.
