Defensive Battle of Paradis Part 3

The next few weeks, the Royal Family and the Island of Paradis were under lockdown, they couldn't leave the castle, let alone Mitras until the Savage Titan was caught, or killed. Historia was impacted by this the most, she had multiple sleepless nights, and most of the day, she was crying in your arms, blaming herself for letting James almost get killed. She realized that the MP had, in a way, accomplished their mission of giving the child of You and Historia, the Beast Titan. James, on the other hand, hadn't tried to transform into his Beast Titan once. The Island couldn't have any transports coming in or out of the island, and a Navy was set out along the sea line to stop any smuggling

Historia- It's my fault... James... If I hadn't given the order. He wouldn't be in this situation. What was I thinking, I can't do what you do, I'm not nor am I ever supposed to command anyone

Jericho- It's not, you had to do your job of eliminating the threat... no matter how bad I want to deny it. James had his own accord and followed his own orders. Historia, you're my back up, if anything were to happen, I know you would make the right decision

Historia- But I almost killed my own son, Jericho!! What kind of mother does that?!!

Historia broke down, and James walked through the door

James- Mom? 

Historia walked towards her son and hugged him 

Historia- I'm sorry, James! I'm sorry!

James- Mom... I-- it's fine

Historia- No, it's not. I need to tell you something, along with your brother

Terrance was brought into the room and Historia sat everyone down

Historia- I have to get something off of my chest. Jericho, when I said that I wanted to have children, I... I was telling the truth, but it was partially because I agreed with the MP

Jericho- What?

Historia- I agreed with the MP and Azumabito's plan to pass on the Beast Titan to my child. Terrance... James, you were nothing more than political pawns to protect the island. But now, you're my son. I wanted to have children, but I accepted the cost that I would have to have the Beast Titan and feed it to one of you 

James- So... what are we now? Now that the MP had completed their mission? Just some pawns?

Historia- You're my son! I love both of you, and I'm willing to give anything to you! But back then, I was thinking more about the island, than family. I've been regretting it for the past 16 years. I tried to make amends with myself by working with the military, but it was just a distraction. I hate that I was a coward... I used my own children as a way to protect the island, I don't deserve to be your mother or your wife...but... the least I can do... is ask for your forgiveness

James- So...? We're family, aren't we? Who cares if I have the Beast Titan, I can now protect the island more now, not as a soldier, but as a Titan. So, there's no need to ask for forgiveness, you're my mother and you've been there for all of my life, protecting me. So I'm going to protect you now 

Jericho- We went through hell and back together, Historia. Who doesn't make decisions they regret. You're my wife, and I love no matter what

Terrance- Well, I've been making bad decisions for a long time, so... yeah, Everything's cool

Historia teared up and hugged all of you

Historia- What did I do to deserve a family like you guys? 

For the rest of the day, and the next day you all spent it together, but then a terrible day came 

Soldier- The Savage Titan has been spotted!! Deploy all troops!!
