Eren walked down to Jean and sat next to him

Jean- How the hell can you still work alongside him? You know how this is going to end

Eren- It's like Levi said... the future isn't set in stone... I can second that. I saw a version of the Rumbling with me dying... and Paradis is destroyed decades in the future... Yet here we are

Jean- Damn, I can't cooperate... not knowing that he's never going to pay the price... he should've never removed the Curse of Ymir...

Eren- Jean, listen to me... what we're going through is a Civil war. It's just us versus our home. Where we grew up, so are you going to fight, or weep on your ass? 

Jean- After all these years you sound the same... fight this, fight that. Fuck you, Eren!!

Jean tried to jump and choke Eren, but his handcuff held him 

Jean- I hate you all... You murderers!!

he walked upstairs and saw Mikasa caring for Kole, but bandaged up

Eren- Mikasa, you need to res--

Mikasa- I don't let me take care of him 

Eren- Mikasa, your burns aren't going to heal unless you lay down 

Kole- Mom, please. You're more injured than I am

Mikasa- Tell me, what did they do to you? 

Kole- They told me that you betrayed the military along with the 104th and Manufactured Titans. They were talking about how I was their strongest soldier and had to dump my emotions for the future of Paradis. Which, in the long run, meant that I had to kill you 

Mikasa and Eren hugged their son and on the upper deck the Royal Family were watching the sea

Historia- 16 years... 

Jericho- What? 

Historia- It took 16 years for the world to somewhat accept us, and now we're going through a Civil War... how... why... what happed for it to come to this? 

Jericho- It's being human, we're designed to never come to agreement, even if we're our own people

James- But, have years and years of evolution we couldn't come to an agreement, at the least agree to disagree

Jericho- If only it was that simple, there are many other variables that come into play, public opinion, economy, well being of your country... What did I do wrong? You shouldn't be doing this at such a young age... you should be worried about sports or girls... fuck

James- Dad, I think I speak for both me and Terrance, but I'm not saying you or mom did anything wrong, but when I was born into royalty, any chance of a normal life went through the window, specifically if we are genetically able to turn into Titans 

Terrance- We appreciate everything good that has happened till now. But, now we have to grow up. We aren't 8 years old any more

Historia chuckled and wiped a tear away 

Historia- When did you go and get mature on me? Your father is right though, we had to join the military, before we even became soldiers we had to fight Pure Titans... we wer-- I was scared out of my mind. Death was at the door for me. While your father, if anyone knew about him being a Titan, he would've been dissected and turned into a science project, being called a threat to humanity... 

Terrance- You worked your asses of for us to have the chance to live normal lives, but we don't want to, I think if the Manufactured hadn't shown up... we still would've been laying in bed, or going to stupid dinner parties overseas. But look at us, we've gotten better than that and now, we know a taste of what you had to go through 

Jericho- Maybe it is time for me to step down as King, you seem fine on your own 

Terrance- Well, I'll leave it to James

James- Wha..?

Terrance- You're far more qualified than I am... Smarter, stronger, in situations, you have a clearer had than I will ever have... plus, I've figured out my own path 

Jericho- What would that be? 

Terrance- 2nd General of the Scouts or Survey corps whatever the name is 

Jericho- Well, that's going to be quite the competition, you aren't going to be alone in it 

Terrance- I hope I'm not. It's about time, I've seen things differently

Jericho- Well, good luck in that

It was silent until banging was heard then a scream

Gabi- Jean, stop it!!

Jean was bashing his head against the wall, and Gabi was failing in stopping him

Jean- Get off of me!! You bastards

Eren and Reiner were able to subdue Jean

Jean- I can't take it anymore... I have my friends killers all in the same room. Marco, Reiner, Annie... Sasha, Gabi... Hanji, Eren... Connie, Jericho. Damn you all 

Jericho- I'm so--

Jean- shut up... just get me back home... to people I trust

You left Jean and walked to the deck and Historia followed you

Historia- Jericho... Jericho!!

Jericho- Dammit... Dammit... 

Historia- It is not your fault... you couldn't do anything and it was Connie's choice to go out like that

Jericho- Connie's choice? I could've done something... protected him more... I don't know, anything instead of just letting it happen 

Histoira- Connie, he's a soldi--

Jericho- Historia...  

Historia- He knew the risks of the military, and still kept fighintg, how he went out probably wasn't how he wanted to go but... it was far better than hiding like a coward

Jericho- I can't... I just can't knowing who else will die, knowing that you could die

Historia- Jericho, now matter what happens to me, I will still love you, and be by your side, after everything we've been through, I'd be fine dying if it meant protecting my family 

Jericho- You make it sound easy 

Historia Kissed you and joined the others to restrain Jean 

Jericho- I'm going to miss you

The ship landed at Paradis and everyone got off, while others got Jean to a Hospital 

2 Days Later 

Things were having some sense of normality, but the clock was ticking before another Manufactured attack. You and Historia were walking to visit Jean

Historia- Have you heard anything from him, or how he's doing? 

Jericho- Jean's wound is infected... they're doing what they can but, it's not doing much, all we can do is hope 

but then crashing sounds were heard, through the rubble the Cart Titan appeared and grabbed Historia in its mouth, 

Jericho- Historia!!
