It was not easy for Annapoorni, not even in the start or now. She was unwantedly welcomed by her parents when they were in their early fifty's. Her parents faced so many humiliations because of her existence, but her parents' appearance never mattered to her. Because she understood the priority at a noticeably early age. She just wanted her parents to love her nothing else which they lacked to give. They loved her elder sister, her family and her children who were elder than her. But never noticed her who yearned for their love and care. She never spokes to anyone. She completely thought her parents hate her until she was kidnapped from her college.
She was allowed to talk to her father and ask him to back off from the deal instead she cried, her parents cried along with her and begged the kidnappers not to do anything with her. Her father was even ready to give all his business in return for her. That was enough to prove her wrong that parents indeed loved her beyond anyone in this world. And that was the last thing she remembers, and in a spark, she opened her eyes in a hospital in Mumbai. She was confused but eventually got shocked to learn that 6 years already left.
And she had no recognition about anything and how did she land in a new city, she was severely in her head, The first thing that came to her mind was her parents, she desperately wanted to call them, but in return got shocking news about her parents' death. She didn't want to believe that, but her sister told her the entire truth. She had to believe them, but her heart still wants to see her parents which she never spoke out. From then, her life's control went to her Jiju, He became desperate to get me married to someone and send me off. But nobody was ready to marry me after knowing about my past until this day, Today was supposed to be her engagement date but the person who stands opposite to her as a groom wanted to marry her straight. She wondered whether he got her letter. She attempted to ask him, but he never turned to her side not even raised his eyelids with her.
Jiju asked about his family, but he asked him to continue as he's the person who would be marrying her not his family. Anu went on a deep confusion, but then things started to work around her, and she eventually got married to the person who she just knows nothing more than his name. Before she could clear her doubt, she got married to him.
"We are leaving in 10 minutes." It was his first words directly to her as soon as she got married to him which left her more confused. She saw her sister rushing to her room and packing her bags when she left astonished. That's what her sister wants? to get rid of her which welled up her eyes, she was not crying that she would be missing her parents but cried because she was a burden to her own sister who should be like a mother after her parents' death. Eventually, she composed herself and got ready to face whatever was ready to happen with her. And finally got ready to leave with her husband who was nothing more than a stranger to her. until now.
They left, Anu didn't raise her eyelids to him instead she was so composed and strong, she worked her soul in a way it can face anything in the world, after going through everything, she got the courage in herself. She took off her nose-pin when it started to hurt her more and kept it in her lap while then, she noticed his tightly folded fist which eventually moved her eyelids to his face who looked at her in the next millisecond, they both glanced at each other silently, neither she spoke, nor he spoke.
"Khanna, how long it will take?" - He asked the person who was driving in a cold tone without breaking his glace with her. He was looking at her eyes with fuming anger, And Anu had no idea about it.
"Chief, just a few minutes, the Plane is ready to take off." He replied in a composed tone. Shivaay finally broke his gaze with her and looked aside through the window leaving her in a deeply confused state.
"Can I get water please?" She asked the person who was driving when she felt so thirsty and couldn't be able to control her thirst. Both Shivaay and the person who was driving looked at her shocking. She was confused whether it was because of a British accent, or they think she's dumb.
"Did I ask anything wrong?" She asked him again, this time, the person who was driving passed the water bottle to her and Shivaay rested back to his same posture and looked aside while she drank water. Soon, they reached the airport, Shivaay straightly rushed outside to board and didn't even bother to look back at her. Khanna opened the door for her when she felt trouble opening the door. And the time came, she finally said bye to the city where she was born and raised.

Shivaay completely went nuts when he saw Anika in the bride attire arriving with her Jiju to the stage. While then, her letter came to her vision, she didn't remember anything about her past and she didn't even remember him. The way she looked at him told him that she didn't remember anything about him which hurt him for no reason. He wanted to break everything to her at that spot and leave her at the spot.
But when he saw the desperateness of her Jiju who wanted to get her married to anyone crossed his vision. If he breaks the marriage, she will get married to someone else. That thought made him do the unthinkable. He wanted to get married to her instead of just getting engaged. He became selfish, First, he wanted to hurt her with the news that he moved on with another person, Now, when he comes to know that she lost her memory even ready to move on with a stranger, He wanted to marry her. He didn't want her to marry anyone else. Now he got married to her and going back to his house. Before that, He wanted to ask everything about her memory loss. Instead, he got surprised by her British accent.
Khanna showed her sit next to him, but she took the adjacent seat rather. She was not feeling comfortable with his sudden decision, and he could clearly see in her behaviour, but he couldn't control his anger whenever he sees her face, her betrayal blocking him from seeing her condition. The whole travel went in silence. Neither he spoke nor she did. Over then, He asked Khanna to drop them in a hotel, at late night, if he brought her back to the Oberoi mansion creates more chaos in the family and his mother, she will lose her patience if he saw her with him in wedding attire. He dropped them in the hotel, she again looked at him confusingly, this time, he felt least bothered to answer her.
"We will be staying here tonight and tomorrow, I will take you to my house, I just wanted some time to explain things to my family." He said to her as soon as they checked in to the room, she acknowledged him with a nod. And moved towards the chair and removed her heels.
"I hope you will find some time to explain things to me, I thought I will get engaged tonight but got married." She asked him to look straight into his eyes with so much confidence and zero per cent of hesitance. He was amazed for a while, He always thought if Anika gets a perfect education (because of that her confidence lacked) how she would be, and now, He was witnessing it before his eyes.
"My schedule was busy, and I am not ready for every ceremony of marriages. So thought it would be best." He finally managed to reply. She crossed her legs and held her left toe and massaged it then opting to listen to his words.
"Thanks for the explanation." She replied.
"Can I ask something in return?" He asked, He tried to be calm. She raised her head and looked at him.
"Have you ever tried to track your past?" He asked her straight.
"No." She replied in an instant.
"Why?" He asked her.
"It was not healthy for me, If I take stress about it, anything can happen to me. I just stayed away from it when the doctor said I might also go into a coma If I start to track. I was away from my family for 6 years, there are many possibilities, but thankfully nothing worse happened to me, I have done my medical tests. If you want, I can give you that. I understand your point of view." She sounded practical and Shivaay doesn't need any medical reports from her, and he knew about her. But her condition right now regarding her past depressed him more.
"I don't want that. I just wanted to know about your amnesia. Is there any chance of getting your memory back?" He wanted to confirm again.
"Till now, it didn't come back. Maybe tomorrow, the future is uncertain." - She said with a smile which depressed him more. He didn't have any idea, after everything, His heart still cares for her. And he hates that.
"It's nice knowing you, Ani..." He stopped recognizing what he was about to say.
"I mean what's your name?" He asked her again.
"Annapoorni." She spoke.
"It's nice knowing you, Annapoorni..." He said and left the room. Now, he should tell everyone about Anika.
