Part 2

The Star Breed

(this breed is completely made up but I have worked on making them so I hope you like it)

The Star Breeds are of course cats. They do not have a certain fur color but all Star Breed cats have a star mark on their forehead (obviously). All of them also are born with wings. Being a Star Breed cat is completely genetic, apart from the first one. Being one is not gender specific, all genders can be a Star Breed. Like I said in the last part the Star Breed was very spiritually connected. The magikats, which they were friends with, made peace with them and learned catspeak to understand the. Again only the priests did this. 

Now to discuss their powers. There are 5 points on a star. Common knowledge right? Each point represented a single power. The point at the very top (we are moving clockwise) represents becoming a spirit. A Star Breed cat had the ability to let their spirit out of their body and back in again. Now if their original body gets killed they are stuck a spirit as they are dead. You can tell a Star Breed cat is in spirit form when they are just laying down with their eyes wide open, completely blinding white. They also inherit every thing a spirit can do like, fly, walk on water, never run out of energy, disappear, turn invisible, a little teleportation, dream visit, and somewhat control weather patterns. The next point is the right side point which represents opening the spirit portal. Now regular(actually dead) spirits can do this regardless of being a Star Breed, so why can't Star Breeds do that in their spirit form. Well because they are only half-spirit aka still lying alive somewhere. They can open the portal in their normal form but immediately leave their body behind when they go to the spirit world. The next point is the right bottom point which represents time abilities. Now don't go crazy, they can't travel through time. What they can do is either be able to see others memories and walk in them but cannot affect the memories, similar to the episode promise, or they can see the future or even both. Okay calm down, there is a rule to get these powers. It's similar to Nightwings from wings of fire but instead of being born under full moons it depends on how many moons are in alignment. That's why Star Breeds hate being pets or having kits inside because it doesn't allow their kits to be granted powers. Its a simple pattern really, one moon is past seeing, two moons is future seeing, and three moons is both. Both of those powers require immense practice and should be taught by a Star Breed's parent how may also have that power. The next point is the bottom left point which represents protection. This included three powers: fire, shield, invisibility, and deceit.  Most Star Breeds do not use their fire power of fear of burning the planet. They are the only animal on Etheria to record having natural fire powers. Some do use it. It's really their decision but all practice to gain control of this power. If not learned how to control the powers can spiral out of control. The shield is simple and can cause an electric shock is touched. Like the shield the invisibilty is just as it sounds, while when they fade and come back they appear to look like code. Their deceit power is the ability to appear a normal cat and fool others. The next point is the left side point which represents the power of decay. Now you are mostly likely thinking, "Fire and decay? THEY CAN DESTROY THE WORLD!" They can but they don't and are made sure to be good if harm is intentionally caused. Its a simple power. One of their claws is fully black when they activate it with black bubbles, like Cat Noir's cataclysm. The final point is connected to spirits. Now let me explain. This power means, when a Star Breed bond with a dead body, they can see and hear and interact with those spirits outside of their spirit form and the spirit world. 

Now let me talk about my OC Sunset. Sunset is a maroon she-cat with a golden tuxedo pattern and green eyes. She is a Star Breed, therefore having a white star on her forehead. Also her body is has white spots. She was born while all three moons were in alignment (between the two shadow weaver ones), so she can see both future and past. Her father, Black Ice, had died before she was born. She had one littermate, her brother Oak Tree. Her mother's name was Sunlit Meadow. However, a horde bot had killed Sunlit Meadow and Oak Tree when Sunset and Oak where just 5 moons old. Sunset had used her shield to protect herself and ended up living. She couldn't hunt as she didn't know how to. About a week later she met, Cosmic, a tuxedo tom with blue eyes. Cosmic was only half a moon older than her and was very friendly. He knew how to hunt and brought her food. They quickly became friends. They would play hide-and-seek. Eventually, Cosmic left his family behind to live with Sunset permanently. They spent about a year together. Sunset eventually joined the rebellion after Perfuma and before Mermista did. Cosmic was technically her mate but she didn't want kits until the war was over, to make sure they were going to be safe. At the time of season 4, she developed a friendship with Shadow Weaver. Also, at Glimmer's coronation, she kept having visions of pastel rainbow beams waving together, coming out of the ground. That was her first vision of the future, which had been the heart of Etheria at the end of season 4. She had strange visions like she saw the war ending (no horde prime) and it not ending and Etheria being taken over by the horde. Now here is another weird relationship she made. One day (season 4), Adora asked Sunset what it meant when a cat slow blinked at you, as Adora said Catra had done that to her. Sunset knew it meant 'I love you' but she just said that it meant a cat was tired. She went into Catra's dreams and her and Catra formed a bond as they often talked in Catra's dreams. She had been happy when she saw Catra was with the rebellion. Nothing important happened until the battle where she was frozen by Micah along with many other members of the rebellion. Within that freeze she had a vision of very very fast moving images. One of them was the Catradora kiss scene but it was so fast and sudden she couldn't comprehend it. After the war, she and Cosmic has three kits: Raven, Icey, and Mage. Raven was the Star Breed of the litter. Icey could turn water to ice with a single touch. Mage had plasma balls and was also blind. Now she lives a happy life in Plumeria. Here is a better profile for her:
