Oh great, it starts with an author's note.
I know, but there are some things you should know before you read the story.

First, thanks for deciding to read my story.
Second, some stuff you should know:
I wrote my story (or at least I tried it) in the New Yorker accent. I should add that I've never been to NYC, so all I know about this accent is based on what I heard in newsies. Still, if you know it better (what you probably do), feel free to correct me in the comments or write my a personal message.
Also, I tried to write it mostly based on the movie from 1992, but sometimes I just slipped into the Musical, so some characters from the Musical are here, while others aren't (like Kathrine, for example).
And I also used the apperance from the movie, so if you should wonder why a certain person "looks" different from how you remember them, that's why.

Also, before I forget it:
Spoiler alert!
If you haven't watched the movie, and still want to watch it, do that first!
My story works with the knowledge of the ending.

Ok, I'll shut up now.
I hope you like the story, and... yeah... have fun :)
