Season 1 Episode 1 - My Little Petal

Ragnar Lothbrok and Queen Aslaug are sitting in The Great Hall sitting on their thrones as Jarl Borg and a eight year old Ingrid enter the Great Hall. Ragnat and Aslaug both look to each other with confusion. As Jarl Borg and Ingrid approach The King and Queen of Kattegat Ragnar says "To what do I owe the pleasure Jarl Borg?" Jarl Borg says "Hello Ragnar, Aslaug I have a favour to ask of you" Ragnar looks to Ingrid and says "Aslaug?" Aslaug looks to Ragnar and says "Yes?" Ragnar instructs "Take the child away and introduce her to our boys while Jarl Borg and I have a discussion" and Aslaug nods and stands up and Aslaug approaches a small Ingrid and says "Come with me, my Petal" and Ingrid looks to Jarl Borg and Jarl Borg nods and says "Go, child" and Ingrid takes ahold of Aslaug's hand as Aslaug guides Ingrid out of The Great Hall. Ragnar looks to Jarl Borg and asks "So what is the cause of your visit?" Jarl Borg replies "King Aelle and me are going to war, and he has threatened my young Daughter, Ingrid's life" and Ragnar asks "and? What could I do?" Jarl Borg says "I was contemplating if you could take Ingrid, that you would look after her? Just for a short while?" Ragnar stares ahead and contemplates and says "Fine I will take good care of your Daughter just until this war is over, she will be safe with me" and Jarl Borg smiles and nods and says "Thank you Ragnar".

Ingrid is laying in bed and is laying on her side and she opens her eyes as Sigurd pops up from the space beside her and gently kisses her bare shoulder causing Ingrid to grin. Ingrid turns around and faces him as

she looks up at him as Sigurd is hovering over Ingrid. Sigurd cups Ingrid's cheek and gently strokes her cheek with his thumb and asks "and How is my beautiful Wife this morning?" Ingrid smiles and says "I am fine my dear Husband, and how are you?" Sigurd smirks and says "I am more than fine" and Sigurd leans down and presses his lips against Ingrid's lips and they passionately kiss.

Aslaug is in The Great Hall sitting on her throne as Ingrid walks into The Great Hall. Aslaug grins at Ingrid as she stands up from her throne and approaches her young Daughter in Law "Hello Ingrid, Where is Sigurd and Ubbe and Hvitserk and Ivar?" Ingrid smiles fondly at Aslaug and says "They are in the woods, training for battle" and Aslaug nods and lightly chuckles and says "Of course they are". Lagertha enters The Great Hall causing everyone to look at Lagertha, Ingrid looks to Aslaug and says "What is she doing here?" Aslaug says "I do not know". Lagertha and numerous of Lagertha's people stand behind Lagertha stare at Aslaug. Lagertha says "Aslaug?" Aslaug says "Lagertha, what brings you to Kattegat?" Lagertha replies "For my Kingdom, I wish for you to step down and leave Kattegat and give me back my Queen title" and Aslaug looks to Ingrid and looks back to Lagertha and Ingrid says "You cannot do that, Aslaug is the rightful Queen" and Lagertha looks to Aslaug and Aslaug says "It is fine Ingrid" Aslaug looks to Lagertha and says "Very well, I will leave. Kattegat is yours" and Lagertha nods. Aslaug looks to Ingrid and winks at Ingrid and Aslaug walks past Lagertha and Lagertha turns around and takes the arrow and bow from Astrid and aims it at the back of Aslaug and Ingrid acknowledges this and shouts "Noo!" as Lagertha shoots an arrow through Aslaug's back and Aslaug falls to her knees and Ingrid runs to Aslaug and cradles a dying Aslaug in her arms and Ingrid says tearfully "No, do not leave me" and Aslaug smiles as blood spills from her mouth and says "My Little Petal, I am so proud if the woman you have became and so would Ragnar be, I always wished for a Daughter...my wish was granted" and Ingrid cries.

Lagertha and others all look down at a distraught Ingrid and Aslaug's corpse. Ingrid wipes away her tears and glares up at Lagertha and she abruptly stands up and charges at Lagertha and Lagertha struggles against Ingrid. Astrid and another Shieldmaiden grab Ingrid and take her away from Lagertha. Ingrid shouts "I will kill you!" Lagertha says "I believe that is the grief talking" and Ingrid shouts "Believe what you want! But I will avenge Queen Aslaug!" Lagertha says "Astrid, put Ingrid in the cell" and Astrid nods and grabs Ingrid and drags her away from The Great Hall and ushers her towards the cell.

Ubbe, Sigurd and Hvitserk and Ivar all enter The Great Hall to see Lagertha seated at her new Throne and everybody all looks to The Ragnarssons. Ubbe says "What is this?" Sigurd says "Why is Lagertha sitting on Mother's Throne?'' Hvitserk says "There's only one way to find out, isn't there Brothers?". Lagertha says "Boys". Ivar asks "Where is our Mother?" Lagertha says "Aslaug is dead" and Ubbe asks "What? How?" Lagertha says "I killed her, I put an arrow through her". Anger spreads through The Ragnarssons faces and Sigurd takes out his sword and says "I will murder you!" Lagertha says "Your Wife has already made her threats" Sigurd and Ubbe and Hvitserk and Ivar all look to each other and Sigurd shouts "Where is my Wife?!" Lagertha says "She is safe, I will release her by morning, but I suggest you go home now" and The Ragnarssson's glare at Lagertha.
