The clouds cascading the blue sky let out a low hollow grumble of thunder now and then letting the citizens know it will rain. Jeon Jeongguk with his other two colleagues sat at a window table not really paying attention to the buzz of chatter and the familiar conversation of his colleagues he stared up at the sky as of silently communicating with every beat and every tick of the clock the streaming cup of English tea held between his palms going cold by the second. His heart could relate to the weather outside. The clouds burst letting out a loud grumbling thunder and Paris wept. The city outside was covered in a silver curtailing sheen on rain by now. To Jeongguk the sky spoke more than words could ever describe and the familiar chatter of his colleagues seemed distant at the moment. He still remembers the day he was posted in the Paris branch of the company he was working for, fresh out of university. Eyes full of dreams and body energized by young enthusiasm . He was working in the same team of which his man .... No the man he loved was the leader of. He scoffed in the back of his head at the thought of how easily he could call the person his man even though he will never be. He felt vulnerable and weak, used in a way he had never imagined before but it was not like he minds it too much. He loves it. Currently he was waiting for the arrival of the man. He needed answers to the many questions that has been agonizingly growing in his head. He would shatter without those answers. The clock of the cafeteria read 10:40 am. He should be in his office by now. A thump on his right shoulder brings Jeongguk back to reality. He blinks twice before saying,

"I am sorry what did you say?"

Jimin and Taehyung shared a blank look before Taehyung continued, "Are you okay? You have been zoning out for some time now."

"I am sorry. I just have a lot on my mind", he paused before adding, "work pressure" and shrugged .

Taehyung let out a chuckle before saying, "I didn't know your boss is such a hardass".

Jeongguk defends, "he is not a hardass. It's just work, clients are to be won over ,be it him or me. It's the presentations I am worried about." A lie. Presentations were the last thing on his mind right now.
