Scott and Madison follow Coach into the locker room before classes. "What do you mean you guys can't play the game tomorrow night?"

"We mean we can't play the game tomorrow night." Scott answers.

"You can't wait to play the game tomorrow night?" Coach says, not wanting to lose his best players.

"Jesus Christ." Madison groans, running her hand through her hair. "We can't play the game tomorrow."

"I'm not following." Coach says. Madison found this very amusing and frustrating at the same time.

"We're having personal issues." Scott vaguely answers.

"Like what?" Coach sat at the edge of his desk. "Is it a girl?"

"No." Scott shakes his head. Coach turns to Madison. She shakes her head.

"Is it a guy? You know our goalie Danny is gay." Coach asks Scott. Madison snickers.

"I know Coach, but that's not it."

"You don't think Danny's a good looking guy?" Coach raises his eyebrow.

"No, Danny's good looking. But I like girls. And that's not it anyway-" Scott stammers, making Madison laugh.

"Is it drugs? Are you doing meth?" Coach asks, before sharing his personal experience. "My brother was hooked on meth. You should have seen what it did to his teeth, all rotted and cracked. It was disgusting. He was a mess."

"What happened to him?" Scott asked, genuinely concerned. Madison just cringed at the description.

"He got veneers. They look perfect now. Is that it? You guys are worried about getting hurt?" the coach asked.

"No." Madison answered. "We are both having... aggression issues."

"Both of you?"

"Yeah." Madison shrugged. "I guess it was passed down through genetics."

"Well that's exactly why you play lacrosse." Coach grins "Problem solved."

"Coach. We can't play the game." Scott sighs.

"Listen, McCall 1 and 2. Part of playing first line is taking on the responsibility of being the first line in the game." Coach tells the twins. "If you can't shoulder that responsibility then you're back on the bench until you're ready."

Madison panics. She was in first line since freshman year. There was no way she was giving up her hard work. "If I don't play the game you're going to take me off first line?" The bell rings. Coach ushers Madison and Scott to the door.

"Play the game, McCall 1 and 2."

Stepping back into the corridor and into the rush of students, Madison jumps when her phone rings in her pocket. She takes it out to read a text message from,

mother, the creator: Got the night off! Coming to see you play! So excited!!

Madison breathes a sigh of frustration. Her phone buzzes again with a second text from,

mother, the creator: What does LMFAO mean?

She's about to type back when she notices someone coming down the corridor to find her- Allison Argent. She walks through the crowd, every teenage male eye seeming to follow her. But her perfect smile is reserved for Scott.

"Hey," Allison greets walking up to Madison. "Have you seen Scott?"

Madison nods, "Yeah, he should be over there." She points towards the direction of his next class."
