A famous saying with a dark-like concept but meaningful message. It portrays how most cats are often written and portrayed as curious, sadly, this certain trait leads to their untimely death.
This saying can and had always been compared and used to humans.
If you were to ever hear a shout from a dark alleyway, you'd either let curiosity kill you and let yourself be attracted and subconsciously pull your body towards the source of the sound ; or you'd be overcome by fear and run away from the situation.
