Autumn-
"What have you dug up on her?" a mans voice asked.
"Autumn McKay, parents shot at a bank robbery gone wrong when she was three, been in the system for fifteen years, recently transferred to Aventador Orphanage twenty minutes away, she has no live relatives and is currently an emancipated minor." A women replied as if she was reading a summery of my life
There was a long silence before...
"Does she have a police record?" The mans voice asked more with a mixture of concern and curiosity."She was charged with manslaughter of Joey Speery, Tanner Hensley, and Tyler Conrad, early last year...but all charges were dropped somehow. Good lawyer? Or corrupt judge that took a bribe to keep her out of juvenile detention?"
"Careful Irene" he snapped at her,
"Shrinks report?""The squint said she was fragile but strong, reluctant to show any emotion, but full of it, still mourning the death of her parents, stressed and scared, found she was a victim of assault and rape, untrusting of everyone but mainly males, uncomfortable and reluctant about talking about her past life and present situation, refuses help and hates attention."
"Sounds interesting." he hummed.
"Very" Irene admitted.
"Whats her current situation?"
"Found locked in a hotel bathroom, having a panic attack found by room service, there's no sign she was assaulted in any way however there was evidence of some kind of struggle. In the woman's interview she stated Autumn was scared and screaming 'no, please, no'. Police described her as exhausted, confused, afraid, frail, weak..."
"I am not weak." i stated my tone was dull as I sat up on the couch of the police building.
No idea how I got here, no idea what I did, but everything's out in the open now isn't it.
"Autumn." the the police officer welcomed me.
I ignored him and stalked over to the computer which had my information on it.
"You stalking me?" I asked him eyebrows raised.
"There goes the male trust thing" he sighed.
Of course.
"I wish I murdered them, it might of felt better than killing them in self defense, but I guess it was a win win right? they got what they deserved and I got discharged with all charges dropped." I stated nodding towards the computer.
He narrowed his eyes at me, "did you just admit to murder?" he demanded.
"No ass hat, I didn't, and If you don't mind I would love to leave now." I headed for the elevator.
He stopped me before I could leave.
"You can't leave until I discharge you." he stated.
Sure sure.
"Am I under arrest?" I asked.
He shook his head "no. Bu.."
"...bye!" I turned to leave again
To be honest I didn't want to leave.
I wanted to stay here, Stay here for as long as possible.
"Autumn!" He called out to me desperately.
I would have kept walking if I wanted to.
"What?" I snapped back
