I remember how we used to play

Pretend that love is just a game

That touch, the feeling it'd convey...

Now, it will never be the same.

But every day we stray further away

And I'm left wondering what to say.

When I end up seeing your face

I remember that my right is still your place.

Even though I beg for you to stay

You ignore me all the same.

All my pleas have gone in vain;

How much I killed to keep you safe!
