Y/N shivered under the ac that was above her. She rubbed her arms to feel a semblance of heat as Ruby takes note of Y/N's state. "Did you forget to wear a sweater again?"

"I sure the fuck did..." Y/N said through chattering teeth. "For fuck sakes, Ruby.... I have been here for a few months now and I still haven't gotten used to the cold in this goddamn room!"

Ruby responded with a shrug. "I guess I got used to the cold." Looking back to the screen, she starts speaking to the guys. "Tommy? Mason? Buck?" She pauses and sighs, "...Eddie? Are you all comfortable?" Some of the guys responded with a general yes or hum of reassurance. Eddie's face brightened at the fact that Ruby mentioned his name this time.

Y/N looks back at Ruby with a puzzled look, in which Ruby notices nothing. "What?"

"Oh my god. Ruby being nice to Eddie? Not as COLD hearted as I thought." Y/N jokingly smirked, Ruby could only return a roll of the eyes from annoyance and at the terrible pun you just made.

"I'm just in a better mood today, that's all." Ruby briefly said, already wanting their conversion to be over with. Y/N only snickered at her response.

"Oh really now?" Y/N's smirk widened as Ruby gave her a side glare.

"Uh- yeah... and what about you and Mason? You two seem to be getting closer.." Ruby said with a raised brow. The sly smirk in Y/N's face immediately faded and was replaced with a reddened face from the mention between her and Mason. She could only bite her lip as a smirk started to form on Ruby instead.

"Uhm... yeah we got close I guess? There's a lot of... Uhm.. similarities between us?" A nervous, yet large smile was implanted onto Y/N's face as sweat started to form. "God damn- is it getting hot in here or something? Geez-"

"Didn't you say it was freezing a few minutes ago?"
The silence and awkwardness between them were strong. Y/N opened her mouth to respond but was interrupted by Mason, gaining both their attention.

"Uhhhhhh... Ruby? Y/N? Are you both still there, are you just ignoring us?"

Ruby grabbed onto the microphone to talk through. "Yes, we're here. We just had a bit of an interruption." As Ruby says that, her eyes quickly flicker towards Y/N, then flashing back to the screen.

Y/N's back straightens like a board upon realization and crosses her arms, sending a squinted glare at Ruby with flared cheeks. Y/N pouts in the background, as Ruby continues, "Don't worry about it.."

Second Person POV
You and Mason were in a fit of laughter.  "You're such a dick!" You nudged Mason with your elbow.

"Look- Just hear me out, ok?" Mason said between laughter as he raises and waves his hands in defense.

"No- No, no, no. How can I after that?" You exclaimed in bewilderment, yet a hint of amusement lingered in your expression.

"He was annoying me ok? I had to leave! If you had to wait for some guy for 10 minutes, wouldn't you leave too?" He lifted a brow curiously as his eyes focused on yours.

"Well- I mean-," You paused and thought for a second before responding, "Yeah. You know what- I would leave at 5."

"Exactly!" Mason's body slumped, throwing his hand mid-air as he proved his point.

"Ok! Whatever you say! I'll give you that one."  With the roll of your eyes, you chuckled as you relaxed your body, putting most of your weight onto your arms that were leaning onto Mason's bed. Your sights were set upon the ceiling as you took in the sweet moment that you were experiencing. With an inhale and a sigh, you couldn't help but glance back at Mason. He was looking back up at your e/c eyes with an intensity of his own. You couldn't tell what he was thinking, but it seemed that he was lost in thought along with reading your features.

Your face reddens at how much he stared at you. "Mason..." Your eyebrows knitted together as you couldn't help but feel embarrassed from his constant stares.

"Huh? Oh- sorry. I just realized- that um..." It seems as if he was trying to think of something to say, yet lacked the words to say. "Uh- you're tall!" Flustered, he scratched the back of his neck nervously. Though you couldn't help but notice him cringe at his own words.

"5'8 is not that tall, Mason." You laughed out loud.

"What do you mean 5'8 isn't that tall? It must be so cool being that tall! Just imagine the benefits!"

"There are benefits, but there are also cons. Like for example, the taller the person is the harder it is to find a goddamn shoe that you like and fits at the same time. Also, not many guys prefer a tall girl."

"Not many do, but I prefer you.." Your eyes widened in surprise as you gazed at his face.

"What?" You spoke in awe as he continued.

"Y/N... I like you, like.. more than a friend." The tone of his voice quivered as he seemed hesitant to continue talking.

"Show me."

He was taken aback by your quick and sudden response.

"Huh?"

"Show me how much you love me." He looked as if he was contemplating something, yet the sight in his eyes softened as he finally made his choice. It felt like a magnetic attraction as he gently placed his hand over yours and slowly leaned in. His lips were almost hypnotizing. Both of your faces were only mere inches away until both of your lips finally connected.

You closed your eyes, placing your hand onto his chest as he held your waist in return. Your body slightly twitched as the feeling of the kiss felt like a relief, a burst of an indescribable feeling was felt throughout your body. The kiss lasted for a second until someone came into the room, making them both jump away in surprise and embarrassment.

"Hey, Mason! Allison said that- oh... yikes.... I'm interrupting something are I?" You could tell Eddie was slightly wincing at the awkward and embarrassing circumstance.

"No Eddie, you're TOTALLY not interrupting us!" Mason folded his arms and leaned back onto his pillow, clearly frustrated.

"Oh! That's good! I thought I just cock blocked you or something!"

"Eddie, leave." Mason glared daggers at him, making Eddie take the hint.

Alrighty then." And with that, Eddie sped off with the door shutting loudly behind him.

With a disapproving shake of his head, Mason groaned, "Sometimes he just acts like a little brother!"

You could only giggle in response, making him smile through his frustration. Looking at Mason's clock you stood up and headed for the door. "Are you leaving?"

"Yeah, sadly I must be going now. I just remembered that I need to turn in some papers by Thursday. Guess we'll have to continue that kiss later though?" You teasingly winked at him which made him flustered yet again.

"Yeah! Right, right, right!" You snickered at his reaction.

"Alright, have a good night's rest, Mason." Giving a warm smile before leaving his room, he waved goodbye as you closed the door behind you.
