6. End of First Year

Hera POV.

I was so happy to go back to school. The awkwardness was killing me. Like I don't know if I can take Hermione not talking to me anymore.

When we arrive at Hogwarts. I insteadly searching for my friends. I was walking in the Great Hall and got stopped.

"Hey" Harry says

"Hey, how was Christmas with Ron?" I ask

"It was great really. How about you and Hermione?" Once he asked I sighed

"It could have been better." I said looking over to the Slytherin's table seeing Draco.

"Well, see you around." Harry says
I guess he saw that I totally lost focus

"Yeah, see around." I said walking over to our table.

He was standing for some reason. He was saying hi to everyone, smiling. I've never noticed that his smile made me smile. And his eyes are gorgeous.

He looked my way and I couldn't stop myself from running and giving a huge. At first he didn't hug back but he did.

"I see that I was missed." He says like he's a bit shocked

"Get used to it." Is all I said before we sat down and chat about our break.

"What about us? Did you miss us?" Blaise asks jokingly

"Of course. Just you not as much." I said

"Ouch." Blaise laughs

"So how did it go with your parents? You know with the whole Slytherin thing." Pansy asks

"Very well actually." I responded

"Really?" Draco says

"Yeah, they said they didn't care. They told me that your actions and the choices you make shows truly who you are. So they're not worried." I explained

"Wow, that was super inspirational." Blaise says, trying to crack the bit of tension that's there.

"And, Hermione?" Pansy asks

"Nothing changed, except she's a bit more upset mom and dad didn't side with her." I say

"Honestly she's the evil one." Pansy says

I couldn't help but almost laughing thinking about Hermione being evil.

"That little bugger and her friends." Draco says turning his view over to them.

The rest of the year was great. There was a few moments where Draco and Pansy confronted Hermione or just missed with Harry and them just because. And honestly it was hilarious at times. I'm not going to lie my friends are bullies but I love them.

We even though of trying out for our Quidditch team next year. We'll see what happens.

End of The Year Dinner

We heard a clinging sound of McGongall's glass, to get our attention.

"Another year gone," Professor Dumbledore started standing up, "and as I understand it the house cup needs awarding. And the points stand thus. In fourth place, Gryffindor with 312 points. Third Place, Hufflepuff with 352 points. In Second place Ravenclaw with 426 points. And in first place with 472 points, Slytherin House."

We started to cheer. My first year and we won house cup.

"Yes, yes, well done Slytherin," Dumbledore adds, "However, certain events needs to be taken to a count."

We he said that I knew we didn't win.

"I have a few last minute points to award. To miss Hermione Granger, the cool use of intellect when others was in grave danger, 50 points."

Everyone cheered.

"For Mr. Ronald Weasley, for the best played games of chess that hogwarts has ever seen. 50 points. And third, to Mr. Harry Potter for pure bravery and out standing courage. I reward Gryffindor house 60 points." Dumbledore pauses to let them celebrate

"We're tied for the moment." I said

"And finally it takes a great deal to stand up to your enemies but a great deal more to stand up to your friends. I award 10 points to Neville Longbottom." Dumbledore adds

"Assuming that my calculations are right, that a change of decoration is in order." He claps and then Slytherins Flags turn into Gryffindor.

"Gryffindor wins the house cup."

Literally every table except ours cheered and clapped. Even some of the teachers. I guess we're ae bit of sore losers. I could see Professor Snape was disappointed.

"That's great." Blaise says

"We always have next year." I say.

"Another year, to run this school with Chaos." Pansy laughs

"You scare me some times." I said and we both started laughing

"Shut up." She adds

"So next year, that cup is ours. " Draco says

"Definitely." Blaise says

"So no getting into stuff and if you do don't get caught." I add

Sorry this one is shorter than the rest. It's because I didn't really have anything for them to do for the end of the year. But trust I give them more in the chapters to come.

Also comment if you want see something differently or I missed something. Grammar and spelling is also fine but there's no promises I'll fix them all.
Also it'll may take me awhile to publish more chapters because of school and other projects I've started.
