Chapter 2: The Fall of Polyhex/Day of the Seekers

The robotic world of Cybertron. In scattered cities, Cybertronians deal with the daily struggle to survive. When people have a dispute, they settle it with battles between Autobot fighters in their arenas.

Once a year, Autobots from all over Cybertron gather together to battle for the right to be called champion.

They come here Cyber Arena in the city of Polyhex to compete, to talk, to share news and new battle tactics. But this year, some who come won't ever leave again.

A practice match before the tournament begins...

(Metal clangs)

Thunderhoof: I shouldn't be here

Grimlock: Ha! Then Grimlock beat you quick tomorrow, and you can go home.

Thunderhoof: You know what I mean... a trade caravan to my city, Tyger Pax, was wiped out by Vehicons. I should be with my people

(weapon swifts)

Grimlock: One good blow, and I'll knock you back there!

(weapon clangs)

Thunderhoof: I'm serious

(Grimlock's sword gets slipped by Thunderhoof's sword)

Grimlock: Hey!

Thunderhoof: Eyyoo, who is going to beat who quick?

Grimlock: What does it matter? As soon as the Seeker show up, they'll stomp all of us... just like they did last stellar cycle. No one can beat them in the arena

Thunderhoof: Eyyoo Maybe not. I haven't seen one here yet. A better question is, where is Bumblebee? I haven't seen him since we got here

(Thunderhoof get Grimlock's sword and give him)

Thunderhoof: Here. It helps if you hang on to this

Grimlock: I'll remember in fact, I'll remember a lot of things.

At night

Hupcap: Do always practice you battle moves alone?

Bumblebee: I'm not alone. You're here. I'm not a scout like Thunderhoof and Grimlock. They have one set of moves they let other Autobots see in practice, and another they use in the arena.

(Bumblebee use his flip back move)

Bumblebee: I need to keep mine secret. Anyway, why let them know what's coming?

Optimus Prime: Because what's coming could mean the death of them all

Bumblebee: Who's there?

Optimus Prime: I am forgotten already then? Perhaps I lost track of how long I have been an exile...

(Autotroopers arrived to Optimus Prime)

Bumblebee: Prime! Hubcap, get back inside the city

Hubcap: But--

Bumblebee: I said, inside now!

Optimus: What are you so afraid of, Bee? My friends? They won't hurt anyone... unless I ask them to. And I am not here to cause harm, but to help you

Bumblebee: I've heard about your kind of "help".

Optimus Prime: There is a storm coming, Autobot not a wind storm or a rust storm, something you can hide from until it has passed. This storm will swallow you whole... you and all your friends, your cities, your people

Bumblebee: And are you going to help us weather this... storm? Or are you just here to talk?

Optimus Prime: Ah, they said I wasn't good enough to fight with the likes of you... they said I was a warrior, remember? But I will tell you this... This storm has a name. You and yours will be screaming it before too long, if you don't flee now. Run, Bee run fast and hard and hope they don't find you
