; ♡⋆.ೃ࿔* ༄ؘ ;; Hey. I've decided that I'd try and make Team Rainbow seem more like... A magical girl group, by giving it some story. So here we are.

; ♡⋆.ೃ࿔* ༄ؘ ;;  Long, long ago, there was a thriving kingdom up in the sky, surrounded with clouds. Ruled by queen rainbow, and her only son. The kingdom was filled with a subspecies of angels, known as Irotori (which translates to Colorbird in english). The Irotori and could manipulate certain elements related to colors. Those colors powered the entire kingdom, as well as the galaxy as we know it. More specifically, a diamond that contained all the colors to ever exist, as well as everything associated with those colors. It was in the shape of a cloud which was stored inside a large grandfather clock, and every 50 years, the crystal sheds one layer in order to restore it's power. One day, an opposing kingdom known as The Dull World decided that it wanted the diamond for it's own power. The Dull World launched a full-on-attack on the Sky Kingdom in order to get the Rainbow Diamond. And this led to war between the two kingdoms. And during the fight, 12 maidens who worked for the queen and prince were given special items, crafted from she shards of the Rainbow Diamond from it's last shedding, more specifically, magical wands, paints and paint compacts. Other weapons were crafted, but the wands were by far the most powerful. There was only enough for 20 or so weapons. So, with that, the 12 Maidens were sent to fight against The Dull World while the Queen and Prince was sent off to somewhere safe. However, the Prince somehow managed to sneak past the Queen's eye, and went to go help the 12 maidens in battle. However, due to his selflessness, he ended up being turned into a cat by one of the witches from the dull world. And once it was discovered that the prince went missing, it sent the entire kingdom into panic, giving the dull world the perfect time to strike. And so, they did. A massive bomb was dropped on the kingdom, killing most of its inhabitants, all except the Queen and the prince. Unfortunately, the 12 Maidens died as well. But, a tiny bit of the rainbow diamond remained. So, the prince requested for the queen to put the corpses of the 12 Maidens into the clock using the last bit of her power, and the queen complied. Now, with the bodies inside the clock, the prince set the bodies forward in time using the power from the Rainbow Diamond, allowing the 12 Maidens to be reincarnated, and he used the very last bit of the Rainbow Diamond to send himself forward in time, to train the 12 reincarnated Maidens into becoming what we know as Team Rainbow to try and restore the Sky Kingdom.
