"We'll just be gone for a little while, Noel! No need to worry! You'll be safe here with your grandmother for the time being." His mother exclaimed, giving him the last hug that he'd ever experience from her; unfortunately, he would end up wishing that he had savored it more. Noel nodded, pulling away from his mother.
"We'll miss you, son. Please don't cause your grandmother any trouble.." His father said, resting a hand on his shoulder, "Be well, Noel."
The boy nodded, smiling at the both of them. They waved, and left the house.
Twelve Hours Later...
Noel's grandmother turned on the T.V. It blared to life. The old, kind woman flipped the channel to, "Keeping Up With The Walsh's and Carter's," and began to watch the show. She misclicked the remote, flipping to the news channel.
Hotel burns down. The cause may be a careless cigarette that was too close to the building and burst into flames. Many passed due to this event. Here are the list of the unfortunate people who passed in the burning of Milton Hotel...
