"It's so nice having you back, Y/n." Steve said walking me down the hallway, carrying my suitcase like a rag doll.

"Thank you, I was dying to come back." The facility didn't change much after 6 months, it was still as quiet as I remembered, barely any noise around this time of day.

"We got new recruits when you were gone. They're great for the team." 

Bucky appeared next to Steve with a pleased smile on his face. He looked good as always, just trimmed and for the first time looked genuinely happy.

"Y/n, you're back." He walked forward giving me a welcoming hug. It was nice and warm, you could fall asleep right in his embrace.

Bucky walked a few steps back watching my perplexed expression. Steve's chuckling made Bucky's face grow brighter.

"What happened to you?"

"I'm better," He said and I could just feel my lips turn into a satisfied smile.

"Well what else has happened when I was gone? You said new recruits right?"

I look over at Steve and Bucky, as they allowed me to enter the elevator before them. I leaned against the  walls as Steve pressed one of the buttons.

"They're the Maximoff Twins, one of them can run really fast and the other one has red powers." Bucky says causing me to giggle at his vague description.

The elevator moved up, a small tug pulling me down, I was so used to the stairs back at the apartment I was staying at.

The elevator door opened and Peter ran to me with a huge tight hug. His muscles tight around my waist, digging his face inside my neck.

"Oh Y/n, you're back. God how I've missed you. Sam and Bucky are evil despicable human beings." He whispered in my ear noticing Bucky's glare a few feet away.

I greeted a few more people and excused myself to my room. I unpacked my bags, breathing in the familiar scent.

"How you been, walking tesseract?" Tony says knocking on the door with his finger, sitting on the bed.

"I'm alright,"

"I can bet Capsicle told you about the twins,"

"Yeah he did, actually. What do you think?"

He smiled and nodded his head before leaning forward, "They're weird but I mean who here isn't? I'm just more concerned about you."

"Seriously Tony, me? You know I can prot-

"No not that, the maximoff man is really attractive, everybody's been talking about it."

I couldn't stop the giggling, Tony trying his best to say it as serious as possible. I could already imagine all the gossiping and side conversations Tony has heard throughout the facility about the recruits.

"You're so funny, Stark. I doubt he'll be an issue."

"You never know, by the way, welcoming party at 6, here. Be ready." He quickly got up and exited my room like he was never there.
