After school we all walked to they're house. Debbie wouldn't shut up about kyra and carl.
"okay!! we get it kyra likes me, i don't like her. problem solved!" carl yells flopping on the couch
"whatever cmon y/n." she grabs my arm and runs us up to her room turning on the tv "he's so rude" she takes out of the ponytail she has in and looks over.
"im gonna go to the diner and get some food for us okay?" i just nod and and head downstairs to get a glass of water
When i got downstairs mandy was sitting there
"hey? mandy can i talk to you?"
"uhm sure for what" she laughs a little and gets up
"how do you know when a boy likes you." i look down then back up at her
"well i do you like him?" she smiles and walks over to me
"i don't know, maybe."
"well next time you hang out with them. see if they have that look in they're eye." (sorry for stealing ian's line😩)
I kinda gave her a concerned look and walked to the fridge grabbing some water.
When i turn around carl is right. in front of me.
"woah- haha. heyyy carl, do you mind moving so i ca-"
"shut up. what was that conversation about? with mandy?" he has his arm on the fridge against me so i can't move
"uhhh- about a guy from school." i hear the door open and see debbie look at us
"what. the. actual. fuck.... ARE YOU FUCKING MY BROTHER?! IS THAT WHY YOU CAN NEVER HANG OUT ANYMORE? OH MY GOD-"
carl looks at me and rolls his eyes, "i was asking her a question, god damn." he pushes his hair back and goes to his room
"dont. talk to me" debbie throws down her bag and runs upstairs. shit. i'm stuck here without debbie.
