I have to say that I do prefer the friendship vibes of this ship more and not just because I ship Maki and Kaito. I don't know what it is but I prefer it over a romance cause they're besties in the game and shit like that, that's just my opinion. Doesn't discredit how cute it actually is and how it's like my second Kaito ship.
In short, besties forever in some cases and romance forever in others.
