Theyd work well as friends for their shared love of animals, Gundham would probably want to know a lot about Gonta's life in the woods and Gonta would love to meet and talk to more of his animals. Its a cute friendship but I don't ship it as romantic or anything, I'd give that a 5 though.
In short, cute fluffy animal bois are besties.
