"Indie you so damn stubborn. YOU ARE UNEMPLOYED !" He argued, following me around, as I cleaned my room. "Why did they fire you anyways ??" He questioned,

"I told you, they fired me because... Cindy tried to fight me, and I was trying to be calm and collected, but the bitch kept trying to fight me, so I hit her..." I told.

"Indie.... how long you and her were beefing ?—" Ky started, as I cut him off. "—AHT AHT, we are NOT beefing, in my eyes. She's jealous of me, and she hated on me, since I first met her !" I said.

"Pleaseeeeee, my sister needs your help." He begged. "she's running out of employees to help" he said.

"I told your sister—any other job BUT maid shit" I said. "I just can't bring myself to it" I said.

"For the 18th time, you are not going to be a maid, he just needs assistance." He said.

"HE ?!?! What if he's a rapist ? A gang banger ? A robber ? An abuser ? Huh ? What if he kidnaps me while I'm alone with him ?—" I started,

"First of all, you don't even know who HE is, and there will be 1 other girl." He said, making me squint.

"Who is HE ?" I asked,

"Well... my sister never told me yet—BUT ! You'll know when you see him."

"....And what will I be asked to do ?"

"My sister said, he just needs you to watch his nephew while he works"

"So BABYSITTING?! Now Ky... you know damn well, I do not like children." I said,

"It's just for a couple hours, every Friday." He reasoned.

"Why Friday ?? 😩 thats my day to be a bad bitch ! Before I get ugly again during the week." I questioned,

"I don't know—DO YOU WANT MONEY OR NOT INDIE ?!" He asked, annoyed. Hell yeah, I want money 😒

I sighed, and rolled my eyes. "Okay, I'll look into it. Tell your sister to give me his number." I said, finally.

"Hmm ? Oh, hey girl." She said,

"Yea umm.. is this nigga legit ?? Like... he ain't on no weird shit or nothin ?" I asked.

She chuckled, "no girl.. unt uh... he actually quite fine if you ask me.." she said,

"Hmm.. how fine ?" I joked, "nah but for real ?" I asked,

"Yea... he a rapper... you know Kin— WHAT KIMBERLY ?" Tianna said, hanging up— I guess on accident ?..

"Well.. damn.. okay." I mumbled

"Let's go shopping bitch. You need a new wardrobe..."

"Shutup, you dress just like me." I said. "Anyways... did you order the popcorn machine ?!" he asked, desperately.

"I will... I PROMISE. But I couldn't choose between that or the cotton candy machine.. Amazon had it all." I said. He scoffed.

"At the job ?? Boy no. I havent dated in months... you know this." I said.
