*The Next Day*
Hunjin's POV
another day, another 8 hour day of practice ahead of SKZ.
Another day of crushing on a certain small boy.
Today was a little different though
I woke up before my alarm went off which was very odd, by the sound of talking.
I checked the time to read 7:07 am. I had to get up at 8. I then heard fast footsteps and a knock at my door. I felt like something was wrong.
"Jin. Jin get up!" Felix opened my door.
I sat up at his frantic tone
"Im up! whats wrong Lix?"
"Jeongin was told bad news and wont stop crying. We think you might be able to help."
I got up quickly and followed him.
Changbin, Chan and Jisung were all crowded by one of the bathrooms in our dorms. I could hear crying
I rushes over to the door "Jeongin please open up" Jisung spoke as more sobs emitted from the other side of the door.
"S-shes gone" jeongin cried. His pain breaks my heart.
"Jeongin, its me hyunjin. Baby please open the door" Shit I dont know why I called him baby.
He sniffled  but I heard shuffling.
The the door opened and an arm pulled me inside and closed the door again.
He grabbed me and placed his face in my neck, sobbing his heart out. I rubbed his back gingerly.
"Innie can you tell me what happened"
the small boy in my arms hiccuped and grabbed my shirt.
"m-my sister. Shes gone Jinnie. "
I was so shocked. His sister was his best friend.
"mom c-called me and told me shes p-passed"
I hugged him tighter as his breathing was ragged.
"shh its ok baby. im so sorry. im so sorry." he kept sobbing loudly as his legs started giving out as he was struggling for air.
I gripped his waist tighter and carefully picked him up, setting him on the counter so he would not fall to the ground.
He was covering his face with his cute sweater paws as he cried. I pulled him into my chest again, kissing his forehead
"Shh Innie, Innie look at me please" he slowly looked at me with puffy eyes.
"i'm so sorry. We all are. Shes in a better place now. All of us are here for you and will do whatever you want. Im so sorry this happened. She didn't deserve to pass at such a young age. You don't deserve this pain" I said soothingly
I kissed his eyelids and then put my forehead against his
"Thank y-you Jin."
"of course"
"I want to stay in bed today" he sniffled
"ok, Ill take you there" and before he knew it I picked his light body up and carried him to his bed as the other members followed a few feet away from us.
I set him down gently and his cries were turning into whimpers. But he seemed so sad. Spacing out too
"Im so sorry Jeongin" Felix spoke
"we all are. if we can so anything, let us know" Minho said
Everyone agreed with him
"I just wanna sleep" the maknae spoke quietly.
We all nodded and told him to sleep well
As I started to leave after kissing his forehead Jeongin softly called my name
"Yes" I turned back around

"Jin please lay with me. Please..."
