Hodgins POV:

We waited for half and hour, we spoke to Bones and Booth while Jac and the others got ready. Eli cooking dinner while Nik tried to distract him and Jac swiping Kira's glass of wine from the bench as Ally took a quick nap on the couch, only lifting her head to see Booth growling Jac about underage drinking before going back to her nap

"Would you shut the hell up, thanks." Ally groaned as she turned off to drown out the noise

"What'd we miss?" Aubrey called as he walked down with Bekah

"Jac got told off for underage drinking."

"Jac..."

"I'm only 17 get over it, plus I'll be 18 in March." She replied bitterly as she walked towards Sweets who had to hid his smirk behind a file as he read over it "If you want something to actually complain about 'daddy dearest..."

She put her hand on the side of sweets arm rest before leaning down for a passionate kiss

"Enough!" Booth yelled storming over to them

"For someone who acts like an adult most of the time, when act like a child you're a real bitch." Aubrey replied

"Thank you." She smirked

"Your one of the worst." Sweets shook his head but moved his arms regardless giving her the room she need to side on his lap

"You love me thou." She replied cheekily

"If I didn't, do you really think I'd do this in front of you dad." He replied nodding to Booth who was raging "He looks like his gonna kill me."

"He is, Sweets she's underage."

"By a few months and I was legal in Paris were the twins were conceived and born." Jac replied as she leaned into Sweets, only for him to move slightly giving her move room to get comfortable while he finished the file he was reading

"Not in America it ain't not without parental consent..." Booth replied "No consent here."

"My mother died and I don't recognize your authority." Jac shot back

"I'm your father."

"Biological, congrats." She shot back with a glare

"Jac." Sweets warned as he finished his book putting it on the table nearby

"I know, calm down." She replied bitterly as she turned to face him more "He just winds me up so much."

"I need some air." Booth replied

"You should give him a chance." Angela replied "He was terrified of losing you when he found out about you."

"She's right." Sweets replied as he gently raked his hand through her hair "You should give him a chance."

"Aren't you suppose to be on my side?"

"I'm your husband, one of the things I promised you was that I'd always tell you the truth even when you didn't want to hear it." He replied with a soft smile

"Yea, you did." She smiled softly as she turned to sit in his lap comfortable and lifted their entwine hands to see the rings reflecting the sunlight

"How does it feel to be home Mrs Sweets?" Lance asked

"Amazing." She replied as she kissed him once more before turning back to the rings "I'm Mrs Sweets."

"Think about it, the kids will get to meet their grandfathers on both sides." Sweets replied "You'd have your father."

"He isn't my father."

"Angel as much as you say that. I know you have questions for him."

"He abandoned me."

"He didn't know, their is a difference." Sweets replied strongly and softly "I know you know the difference."

"It doesn't matter."

"It does." Sweets replied "I know you, I know the woman I married, the one I love and as much, you protect people because no one protected you and you'd never ever wish for someone to know that feeling of loneliness, fear and betrayal. You act strong because you scared that if you shed a tear if you cry, you're weak... How am I doing so far?"

"I forget you a psychologist." She replied sourly but still rested against him "I don't want to be hurt again. I can't let myself get use to having a father, having a future with him in it... Only for it to disappear when he leaves."

"You haven't given him chance."

"Lance I can't introduce him to the twins and him walking out leaving the twins, I don't want our twins to get use to the feeling of a family then have it ripped away from them." She replied "I won't do that to them."

"So we go slow, you and I talk to him, we work slowly with him." Sweets remind as he picked up their entwined hands and kissed her knuckles "Hey, it's you and me always, your not on your own. I promise."

"Sweets..."

"Do you trust me?"

Hodgins POV:

We watched as Sweets and Jac spoke, both in their own little world consisting of only them

"Do you trust me?" Sweets asked as he looked at his wife as if she was the only person in the world "Jac?"

"I trust you, I always trust you." She swore

"Then trust me when I say, that you and I will be okay." He replied "Our twin will be okay and you and I will be the family we always will be together."

"Lance?"

"His a good man, Angel. You know I won't do anything to endanger you or our little ones." Lance replied "Come on Angel for me will you give him a chance?"

"Fine." She groaned as she curled up tighter on his lap, with her head resting against his collar bone as she played with their hands that held the wedding rings on it "I guess we should make a start before Luca and Zackary decided to go introduce themselves without us."

"That's my girl." Lance smiled as he turned kissing her before waiting till she got off him to get up himself

"If this goes bad I'm blaming you."

"I'd gladly take the blame." He responded as he grabbed her hand and lead her out to see the other couple
