Rads, as she was fondly known by her close friends and family was a pretty, well accomplished, happy go lucky, breezy girl who had no plans of settling down, until Rish happened to her! ❤️❤️
Rish happened to come down to India from the US in search...
"I wouldn't mind it wherever on earth it is, as long as it is with you! Oops!!!"
Did she just say that? Or was I hearing what I wanted to hear? I hope she meant it!
Oh my God! This girl is adorable! Soooo Desirable! My heart is going to leap out of my mouth for sure! It's beating unusually loud and hard! Hopefully she doesn't hear my loud heart that's beating crazy with excitement, happiness and joy!
I wanted her to say YES to my proposal and there she said it and .... How??
In so many heartfelt words! How wonderful!
And also...
There is this earnestness in her voice but her eyes look super confused! Why did she say oops?!
As though she blurted it out and did not mean to or want to!
Maybe should I make it easier for her?! My head wondered! Ufffff!
How cute she looks!
And so easy to talk to. Besides being easy, she's also smart, assertive, sweet and somewhat gullible at the same time! Or should I say endearingly naive? I am going to have a fun time pulling her legs at every pretext.... and something tells me she will enjoy it and I will enjoy it more!
So many, many little things make her more attractive than any other girl I have ever seen or met so far or ...
Am I falling in love?? Am I totally smitten with her? I think so!
Is that why I find anything and everything attractive about her?
There you go... The knocks at the door! Why couldn't people just let us be together without any interruptions?
There she was, Radhika's mom, peeping into the room, her eyes dancing with joy, maybe at the anticipation of a positive outcome, given our lengthy conversation.
Like any normal to-be bride's mother! But to me, it was the loudest interruption, Howe read normal or sweet she came across to be! She very sweetly, in a very hospitable manner, asks us,
"Are you both doing ok? Rishi?! Can I get you another cup of coffee? Rads, Kanamma....darling, for you?"
The first question though I thought was more directed towards her daughter!
Aunty, I think was being very inquisitive to know what was brewing between us and wanted to confirm if it was all ok and seeing her, Radhika smile, I thought she left the room, assuring my request for a second cup, with her heart smug with satisfaction!
Radhika and I, continued talking about this and that and both of us rejoiced at so many converging thoughts and attributes, about ourselves!
We loved movies, music and books! Our main common grounds!
And there were so many things that we liked about those three in common.
Soon, we were conversing and laughing like old buddies over my second cup of coffee.
