No one dares to speak after we were threatened by their guns. Thomas, Brenda, and I sat with our knees raised. I held my own hand in between my legs, playing with my black bracelet which was a habit I picked up. After I found it six months ago, I never took it off. I was planning on making Newt a matching one, but never had the time.
You dumb shank, i tell myself. Here you are getting kidnapped and the one thing you think about is making matching bracelets for you and your boyfriend? Right then and there, I snapped back into reality. The van came to a halt and the men in front of us got out.

"Come on!" One demands.

"Where the hell is she?" I hear an accented voice speak from outside the car. Newt.

"Newt!" I began to make my way out of the vehicle, feeling sort of relieved that they had kept us together. It still wasn't a good situation though.

"Brenda!" I heard, Jorge's voice as well. Then there's grunts and it sounds as if someone is in a fight.

Thomas and I follow Brenda as she desperately goes to stop Jorge from harming the man who was part in kidnapping us.

"Jorge!" She yells, grabbing onto the mans shoulders and pulling him off the beat up person below.

"YN," I hear Newt speak. He sits on the edge of the van and when he sees me, he runs to me, embracing me.

"Fry, Newt, you alright?" Thomas follows me and comes check up on his friends. Both Frypan and Newt nod. "What's going on? Who are you?" Thomas finally acknowledges the group of people surrounding us.

The odd thing about them is that they seem to be uniformed alike, but not the way WICKED's guards are. These people wear similar outfits and masks, while WICKED strictly stook with one fairly similar design.

Jorge begins to yell at the men an a bunch start to get near him cocking their guns at him.

"WOAH WHOAH! CALM DOWN!" Brenda tries to get the strangers and their weapons away from Jorge.

"Calm down we're all on the Same side here." One of the men from the group comes forward. Their face, much like some of the others', is shielded by a mask.

Same side? What the hell does he mean?

He then lifts his arms to remove it his face covering, And the person I never expected it to be, appears before my eyes.

It's Gally.

"Hey Greenie," he speaks staring at Thomas.

I turn my gaze to my friend and watch as he approaches the boy we watched kill our friend, then die himself. Thomas then takes a big swing on him and hits him to the ground.

"Thomas stop!" I yell, wanting some answers instead of picking a fight.

Thomas doesn't listen to me. He sits on top of our former glader and starts beating him with his fists, avenging Chuck.

"Tommy enough!" Newt reaches his friend and kneels beside him. Newt holds Thomas' shoulder back to stop him from getting another punch.

"He killed Chuck!" Thomas reminds us.

"I know I was there too," Newt stares at one of his best friends. "I also remember he was stung and out of his bloody mind." Thomas breathes heavily dropping his arm from the hitting position. Newt then helps him get off of Gally.

"Well I had that coming," Gally says casually. He wipes his mouth. "Anyone else wanna a hit. Newt? Fry? YN?" None of us answer, still shocked and confused at the situation.

"You know this guy hermanos?" Jorge stuffs his hands in his jacket pockets.

"He's an old friend," Frypan tells him.

"I don't understand," I stand, confused. "We watched you die."

"No you left me to die, and if we hadn't found you when we did, you all would be dead right now" Gally explains briefly before changing the topic. "What the hell are you guys doing here?"

"It's Minho," Newt answers. "WICKED has him here. We're looking for a way in."

"I can help with that," Gally nods his head then begins to lead us off elsewhere. When he notices Thomas just standing there, he stops.

"We aren't going anywhere with you." Thomas let's put coldly.

"Fine," Gally shrugs. "But I can't get you through those walls."

Now he's got Thomas' attention. His eyes dart from the ground to Gally, probably questioning whether ir not he should trust him. I remember how it was back in the glade. Gally didn't trust Thomas and he blamed him for everything. He didn't want to follow us out here, now it's Thomas who doesn't want to follow him.

I walk towards Thomas, standing close enough to where he can hear me whisper. "Come on, I know you don't like him but it's our only shot. Please Thomas?" I look back at Gally then Newt, then back to Thomas.

"Fine," he says with no emotion.

So, we follow Gally around their little set up they've got here. Along the way he explains to us how he survived after we escaped the maze. And how he got to where he is now. None of us bother to speak much, besides Gally, but we all listen. Gally leads us towards their leader who supposedly has to approve of Gally getting us into the city.

I hoped their leader said yes. We had gotten this far already, there was no turning back now. I know that even if the man or woman said no, Thomas would find a way to rescue Minho.

So we followed Gally down stairs and across halls that lead to where the mysterious leader wandered.

"He doesn't get a lot of visitors so try not to start," Gally told us when we reached a closed door. My friends and I all exchange glances. A chill tan down my spine and I ignored it, focusing on the task ahead of us.

Gally opened the door and informed the man of our arrival. The entire room was lined with flowers and plants. It reminded me of the garden we had in the glade. The place I spent my days working alongside Newt. Much simpler times. I gave a small grin, then quit my daydreaming. I brought my attention to the man speaking to Gally. When I caught a glimpse of him, I wish I hadn't. The poor man was tuned up to some medical liquid as he roamed the plants around his room. His face seemed Burnt and he had no nose. I pitied the man. He spoke calmly and somewhat kind?

"What is it that you think I need?" The man Gally called Lawrence asks Thomas, getting extremely close to the point I'm afraid he'll hurt my friend. I had just realized that they were exchanging a conversation about having Gally assist us into getting into the last city. My thoughts were too busy wondering off lately.

"Time," Thomas spoke confidently.

All of us watched as the two stared at each other. Lawrence seemed to be questioning whether or not to allow it since it could somehow benefit him and his men. I bit my lip and crossed my arms anxiously awaiting his response. We needed as much help as we could and I just hoped he would say yes.

"Fine," Lawrence agrees. "Gally will show you the city then we'll come up with a plan there."

Thomas slightly smiled to himself. He held out his hand for the man to shake to show him he had a deal. Lawrence accepted it. This was going to work. It's our last shot.
It's all or nothing.
