Chapter 26

Days passed like a blast.

JC and I spent that night together. It was dawn when we decided to go back home. Of course, I used my secret passage while he parked the car on the garage naturally. He said, he'll going to tell that he went to his sister.

When the semestral break is over, we go back to our usual days. Well, except me who became busy with photoshoots and trainings for Miss Teen Philippines.

"Saan tayo?" JC asked as our class ended. I became too busy these past days so we don't spend time as what we have before. Madalas, nagkakaroon lang kami ng quality time kapag matutulog na. Tulog na lang talaga ang bonding namin. He don't want to kiss me on my lips dahil baka daw kung saan kami mapunta and I respect him more because of that.

"Studio daw ni Sir Jai." I am comfortable with him so my Mom asked him again to be my trainor.

"Sabi ko na nga at magkikita pa tayo!" Sir Mark energetically said before kissing me on my cheek. I saw JC and his annoyed look but I just smiled at him. This is normal!

And Sir Mark is a gay so I guess it is okay. But of course, it is not acceptable to a jealous boyfriend.

"It's nice seeing you Amber. I know this day will come though." Sir Jai said. I just smiled at them as we walked inside the building.

"Kasama mo pa rin pala itong bata na ito. Boyfriend mo ba?" Here it is again. Naitanong niya na 'to before. Siguro halata rin nila. Or they really wanted to confirm it right from my mouth. I just smiled and remained silent. I don't want to deny him but I also doesn't want to confirm anything. Surely, it will cause ruckus. I don't want to hear any judgment to him. Sapat na akong alam namin pareho na mahal namin ang isa't-isa.

But JC has his own ways. He denied it. "Bodyguard lang po." Sagot niya at saka tumingin sa akin. I smiled to assure that it was fine. I understand him. Ayaw niyang i-official kaming dalawa. He has reasons though. And I am willing to wait even it takes us lifetime.

"Wag mong nila-lang ang pagiging bodyguard. Without you guys, a life will be at stake." Sir Jai said before walking inside the studio. So this whole building is a training building. May mga rooms depends on what kind of training you'll go through. May nadaanan kami kanina na music room for instrumentalists, rooms for singers, hiwalay pa 'yun sa genre ng songs. My ballroom, may hiphop dance room, even sports such as taekwondo and muay thai are here.

Itong dulong part is for pageants and such. Ang may-ari daw nitong buong building is Sir Jai's friends and the coaches are also inside their league. They are awesome for coming up to this idea.

Nagpaiwan ako sa labas dahil may kinakausap pa silang babae sa loob. She was pretty and tall and looks matured so I guess this is a candidate for international pageant competition.

"Galit ka?" Tanong ni JC. I shifted my gaze onto him and shook my head before I smiled genuinely. "There's no reason to be mad. I understand you, okay?" I assured him. He smiled back.

"Sige, hintayin na lang kita dito sa labas." I insisted na sa loob na siya maghintay but he was persistent. Siguro ayaw niyang mahati ang atensyon ko. Pumayag na lang din ako dahil baka mawala ako sa focus lalo na't dahil conscious ako kapag pinanonood niya ako.

"Sobrang bilis umangat ng pangalan mo sa pageant industry Amber!" Sir Mark said from the other side of the studio. I smiled a little. I know people will always  say that everything I have is the privelege of being belong to my family. It's as if none of these are made by hardwork. It's just the sad part of being a Monteverde.
