hey! this is a rewrite of chapter 3 because i hated what i originally wrote for this chapter
Nini's POV:
i still can't fucking believe that i'm pregnant
and it's harder to believe that the baby is ricky's
like ricky bowen, my best friend
who i may or may not have had feelings for since 8th grade
now my moms told me they are coming to visit me because i "never talk to them anymore" which isn't wrong, but's it's also not true
i've just had a lot to do with school and the fact that my best friend got me pregnant
*a few minutes later*
"hey moms! good to see you!" i say letting my moms in my dorm
"hi sweetie how have you been?" mama c asks
"i've been good!" i respond
"hey do you have any tissues in here?" mama d asks
"oh yeah there's some on my dresser over there" i reply
"nini honey, what are these" mama d says a minute later
and then she places them in front of me
the sonogram pictures
oh shit.
"nina. what are these?" they ask me
"um. uh." i start
"nina are you pregnant?" mama c asks
"i- um-"
"we won't be mad just tell us the truth" mama d says
"yeah i'm pregnant. i'm sorry! it was an accident" i say nervously
"sweetie, we're not mad. we wish you would've told us sooner." they say
"i only found out a few weeks ago" i tell them
"wait but who's is it?" mama c asks
"um it may or may not be ricky's....."
"ricky? as in ricky bowen? you best friend since kindergarten? i didn't know you two were together"
"oh um we're not together. we both attended a party and got drunk and things escalated from there" i tell them
"ok this doesn't sound like you. getting drunk and having sex with your best friend?"
"look it was an accident! and you said you wouldn't get mad!" i say
"you guys should probably just leave, ricky's coming over in a little bit. i don't want you guys to be here when he is" i say
then they pack up their stuff and leave
ok here's a better version of nini's moms finding out she's pregnant
i didn't like that she just told them so i rewrote it
