4. confessions

Nini's POV:

did i admit to my moms that my best friend who i'm also in love with got me pregnant?

yes

but i don't regret it
now ricky's coming over and we are going to search for apartments since babies aren't allowed in dorms

ricky thought it was best if we moved in together so he could take care of me

i'm totally not complaining though

and now he's coming over in...

*door bell rings*

...now. he's here now

"heyyyyy ricky come inside" i say
"thanks. how are you feeling?" he asks
"i'm great! i'm excited to go look at apartments!" i exclaim
"ok then let's get started! oh but before that, i kinda told my dad about ya know. he's eventually going to find out i moved out of my dorm room so i thought it'd be best to tell him" he says
"that's fine. my moms know. they found the pictures" i tell ricky
"oh ok. do they like want to kill me or something?" he asks
"nah i kicked them out before you got here so they couldn't say anything" i assure him
"so apartment hunting?" he asks
"yup apartment hunting" i reply

20 minutes later

"all of the cheaper ones only have two bedrooms" ricky groans
"do we need anymore than that?" i ask him
"what do you mean?"
"i mean, one for us and one for the baby" i say
"like us, sharing a room?" he asks slightly confused
"yes ricky i thought that would be obvious" i laugh
"no no it is you know me, i'm kind of oblivious." he says laughing
"righhhhht okay"
"so us two. sharing a room?"
"yes why is this such a big deal?" i ask
"um no reason" he says before getting up to grab a water out of my fridge

then i don't even know what possessed me to do this

"hey can i tell you something?" i ask
"sure go ahead. nothing can be more awkward then our current situation" he says pointing to my stomach
"um so i totally like want to kiss you so badly right now" i say

if i wasn't pregnant you'd definitely think i'm drunk right now

"what's stopping you?" he asks

literally nothing's stopping me
i could kiss him all i want and nothing and nobody can stop me

so that's what i did

i kissed him

and kissed him

and kissed him

and then i kissed him more until we both could barley breathe

holy shit

"so um nini...that was-
"yeah. that was something" i cut him off
"look i don't know if it's obvious but i like y- no scratch that. i love you. in a non best friend way" he confesses

i didn't say anything
instead i just kissed him again

"i'll take that as you love me too?" he asks
"yes definitely. i love you so much ricky bowen you don't understand" i say
"oh i do understand. oh shit it's getting late i'll talk to you tomorrow?" he says
"yeah i'll see you tomorrow! we should actually start looking at buying an apartment tomorrow" i tell him
"definitely! see you tomorrow"

i was thinking of dragging out the confession for a few other chapters but i hate waiting forever for them to get together
