Mark's POV

If only she knew. If Witney knew it would be a different story. I put that thought out of my head and finished getting ready for my parents house.

The tour bus had driven everybody to my parents house and everybody was ecstatic except for Witney who wouldn't even talk to me.

We were all playing football while my dad was cooking on the grill. Witney was sitting down a chair next to my dad chatting with him.

Witney's POV

I was chatting with Mark's dad about everything that has been going on. "You know Witney, sometimes Dad's know what they are talking about, and I'm sure your dad had his best interest out for you. Even though we both know Mark is a great person maybe he doesn't know that." Mark's dad, Corky said.

"I know, but I was so happy I don't know why he didn't understand that." I sighed. "Whatever happens it will happen for the best. I'm sure of it." Corky smiled and walked off.

I really just wish that everything will work out soon and for the best.

"Witney." I heard a quiet voice in front of me. It was Mark. "Yes." I said looking up. "Can talk to you?" He asked. I took a deep breath "Sure." I replied.

Mark stuck his hand out for me, and I took it. He lead me inside, upstairs to his old room. He lightly closed the door behind him, and we sat down on the couch.

"What's up?" I asked. "Well I just wanted to talk to you. Over the past couple of weeks I have been thinking a lot about everything that has been going on, and I need to let everything out. When I was 14 my mom gave this to me." Mark said pulling out a golden necklace with a diamond heart.

"She said to give it to a women that is special in my life, and that woman is you. You are smart, beautiful, and truly amazing and every way and I couldn't thank you enough for being that way. Surely we have had some bumps in the road, but look at how much stronger that has made us. That is why I wanted to give you this." Mark then clipped the necklace around my neck.

I just stared into his eyes and smiled. "I don't even know what to say right now." I whispered. "Then don't say anything at all" Mark said colliding his lips to mine. Quickly any gap between us was closed and every ounce of passion was put into our kiss. Our lips moved in perfect synchronization showing that we were perfect for each other, and nothing could separate us.

A couple of hours later everyone was sitting by the campfire singing songs and laughing. But it seemed like Mark and I were in our own little world.

"I just realized something. What about my dad?" I asked Mark. "I talked him a couple of days ago and he realized that he made a mistake and gave me his blessing to be in a relationship with you." Mark said quietly.

"Are you serious." I said excitedly. "Yes." Mark replied placing his had on my thigh. "Mark I really like you, and this is truly amazing." I said quietly. "You still don't love me yet?" Mark asked. I hesitated for a second but said "I do. I just have to find the right time to tell you."

Mark nodded, completely understanding the situation I was in. He understands me and not many other men have understood me.

Even though we were surrounded by our friends it still felt like we were in our own world.

Super short update, but I broke my arm a couple of weeks ago and I had to get surgery so finding time to write isn't easy especially with one hand but I'm getting better and better so comment and vote for faster updates. Also I have a Jeta one shot up if you want to read it👅❤️
